I just drove by there on I-20 going home to texas on the 19th. That scares me to think I would be in floods if we had waited to come home a few days later.
I was wanting to go to 6 flags this weekend, ohwell, waiting a couple weeks i guess. The flood is a sign, the scream machine and cyclone both wooden are horrible and noone really rides them. Take them out and put in something better.
When you said watch the roller coaster I was expecting there to be someone riding it and converting the coaster into a log ride.
Seriously not good, hope 6-Flags can recover, this probably puts them out of biz for at least a few weeks I would imagine if not longer, although, they may be closing for the season anyway. I like the 6-Flags parks, i hope they can survive.
They may be able to open. The entire park is not under water. Certainly the flooded coasters would not be operating before an extensive inspection, but the park could still function.
