Six Flags is $60 pp!!!!!

Hey I forgot knoebels grove!!! It was cute we went for the first time last summer! :)

Well, I won't pay a dime for Six Flags over Georgia, the place is old, dirty and the service is terrible. I know WDW is expensive but is way better, we don't mind spendng our money at WDW, but SF, no way. The last time we were there (we got free tickets from DH work) the place was nasty, trash everywhere, gum stuck everywhere, the food was expensive and not that good, the service was terrible.

The Six Flags website for Six Flags Over Texas is selling season passes for $45 + tax for certain area codes. I renewed our season passes today.
That is a great deal! I'd be tempted if anyone in my family besides me liked coasters.

I have a great idea for a 14 girl for a day trip....how about "Canopie Lake Park" in southern NH .It isn't that expensive and it's family oriented !!! I brought my 2 kids there the summer before last and they were DS15 and DD8. They had rides for young and old and it's just a nice clean family park. Sometimes you can find coupons too, during the summer at Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds! :thumbsup2

I agree with Meg&Minnie. Canobie Lake is a great little park that she would probably like. My kids always have a great time there. http://www.canobie.com/
I looked at the website and noticed that rates have gone up this year but you can usually get discount coupons at local McDonalds.

I am assuming that since you are in RI, you are talking about six flags New England.

Did you go on the website because admission is $50 for adults--if you buy online they are $40. And its $30 for juniors. Last year with coupons, we paid $25.

Its not much cheaper but at least its something.

We go to there all the time and spend from 10am to 10pm, so we definately get our moneys worth. My kids are into all the rides, but I just sit and wait. ;)

Hope this helps

:yay: :yay: :yay: I also have another great spot for families young and old that isn't too long of a drive from R.I.....In addition to "Canopie Lake Park" ..How about "Water Country" ,located right near Portsmouth N.H. >It has the bigger slides for your older girl and kiddie areas for mom and the younger kids and lots of shade if you want to get out of the sun. You can spend an entire day there and not get bored!!!Something for everyone. :thumbsup2 "Water Country,Water Country...
