Six Flags Great Adventure

I haven't been to Great Adventure in a couple of years (it was before they opened Nitro - haven't even been on that yet!) I prefer Disney.

six flags great adventure..damn good times there..medusa..nitro..batman the chiller, amerca's scream machine, batman the ride, skull mountain, supermans ultmate flight..are all awesome..i'm a roller coaster person

i went to great adventure today, it was fun! all my cousins were there and my friend. went hit all the roller coaster except kinda ka, i wasn't open even though the website said it was and i was alos hoping it was open because it would shorten the older rides' lines. i was suprise today that alot of the roller coasters were open. I got to go on superman twice, once in the front, every thing else once. the batman side of of batman and robin wasn't open but robin was and that was fun. I went on skull mountain for the first time, i know but nobody evr wanted to go with me, i while in that dark roller coaster i was waitin for some thing like a skull to light up but nothing. There was alot of people but not that many each ride was up to an hour wait. Each and every time i go to this park i love disney even more. i love how they do the lines and how everything is neat. The castmembers are nice and friendly and how the ride are. I guess i am just spoiled by disney. i am always leaving with a smile on my face even though i didn't get to do everything i wanted.

also when we left to day which was around 10, the parking lot was FULL of GARBAGE! Thing people leave! OMG! i was walking to the car and i was like come on, it is not that hard to throw thing in a garbage can. This topped the cake, people left the 8.99-12.99 souvonir bottles on the ground and drove away. I still regret not picking them up and using the next time i go. For gods sake, new jerseyans, new yorkers, and pennsylvanians your slobs. no offense to anyone a i am a new jersian and i even consider my self a slob sometime

I went to GA last month, I've been going just about every year since I was a kid. I didn't enjoy it too much this year though. The place was swarmed with noisy day campers, and the rides were packed. The thing with Great Adventure is that the lines are long, but if you aren't too interested in thrill rides there is not much else to do. It doesn't compare to Disney at all in the enivornment and entertainment. I go there to ride the new rides, Scream Machine, Batman and Medusa are my favorites.I also find that the story of people dying on Superman to be BS..

Kingda Ka is open now. The ads are running locally, which they were only allowed to run these when it was offically open. So they were cleared for operation.

I LOVE GA! It is 5 Mins. From my house!! Kingda Ka is OPEN again!

I am Staten Island and I hate all Six Flags Parks. The lines are horrendous and rather spend a day at Ocean City NJ or Jones Beach out in Long Island. Also I have known many people who have been stuck on Nitro and the other roller coasters. HERSHEY IS THE BEST AMUSEMENT PARK IN THE NORTHEAST. Hershey PA is like a miniature Disney to me. It is very cleana nd the two Hershey resorts are beautiful. The Hershey Lodge is like a mini- Wilderness Lodge and The Hotel Hershey is like a mix of the small but luxurious Castle on The Hudson and other fancy resorts. Six Flags is very dirty and even the actual buildings are dirty. It is Coney Island's Astroland twenty times the size. Dirty, Broken Down Rides, One Really Good One (Nothing in the Northeast beats The Cyclone)! Also Season Passes are exteremly cheap to Great Adventure which brings many people from crime driven areas.
