I've heard some bad things. Who has been, and is it that bad/dirty/rough? Right now they are selling season passes for $50. They also get you into Six flags, in NJ. Thought it might be worth it.

We have lived in Md for 3 years, and haven't been to Sixflags, or Ocean City yet. With gas prices, and family commitments in Ohio, we are rethinking our vacation plans, and might do some closer to home things

Our other thought is Williamsburg/Busch Gardens. We have been to historical Williamsburg, but Busch Gardens.

I have not been to six flags america....
but I have been to Great adventure and Busch Gardens..
Busch Gardens is much, much , much nicer than six fags GA....

Bad-Yes
Dirty-Yes
Rough-Yes

Do we still have passes? Yes

It is not very nice, but it's close. We have had season passes for the past five years. We have not been this season yet, but we already have our passes. It's worth it for only $50. Besides we get to go to the waterpark there. We also use the pass to go to Six Flags Great Adventure, NJ and Six Flags over Texas. So it's well worth it to us. You also get free tix, coupons, and discounts on merchandise with the season pass.

Not that I'm aware of. We used it in Tx about 6 and in NJ about 5 times and no problem. However, the SF America pass does not work in the WPs In Tx and Nj because they are seperate. The pass does get you in to the safari in NJ.:thumbsup2

Thanks...a season pass here is about 90.00...(NJ GA)

But I guess you have to get you pic taken at the SF america.....so you can't buy a pass long distance...right

Yeah. And the free tix in the coupon book are good only at the park where you bought the season pass.

Six Flags America isn't that bad of a park. sfafans.com has forums and pics about the park. You might want to ask them some questions about it. I have had or have a pass for at least the past six years. The park has a great coaster collection, but lacks on rides for children under 36" tall. There is no doubt, the park needs some fixing up here and there but I have a good time whenever I go. Best time to visit this time of year is Sunday's between 10 and 2 when everyone is in church. If you visit weekdays before school lets out you might find lots of rides are closed, because well, the kids that run those rides are in school. If you go to the park looking for Disney Service then your going to be disappointed. They have done lots of work the past couple of years trying to get the service up and improving the park. They have made improvements in lots of areas, but still have some work to do.

The season pass is the cheapest on the east coast. It is good at all of the Six Flags parks in the world (Except the seperate gate water parks like Hurricane Harbor and White Water Bay). Six Flags America offers the premium pass that offers additional savings on events in the Washington Area and a 20% discount on food and beverages.

Like I said, I enjoy the park, I don't wait in lines for 45 minutes to an hour to ride rides like I do at other area amusement parks and to me, that is a big plus for this park.

Hopefully they will clean it up. We've been on opening day and it looks dirty. Little things make a BIG difference. You shouldn't go on opening day and find old gum stuck everywhere. Or things in need of painting. Same at the WP, you see so much stuff floating around by th end of the day. Gross! We've gone one day and seen some hair extensions on the side of the pool. We went back the next, and guess what was still there. Hair extensions! YUK!

Thanks guys. I think we will give it a try

Even if we only go once, and then go to the one in NJ once, it will be worth the cost.

I will say the hair extension story makes me want to think twice about the water park.:scared: I don't think I'll tell the girls about that. LOL

I know it isn't disney. But I wouldn't expect it to be. I'm from Ohio, and we always had King's Island. Its not what it used to be either.;)

Bump...anyone been here within the past year or so? I see they have a small Thomas train themed area which my little guy would love...plus we just got coupons for buy 1 adult ticket get a child's free for any Six Flags park!
