We've booked a 2 bedroom villa at BCV. Originally planned for 4 adults and 3 children(older kids). Now our son and his wife said they also can join us for a few days. Will Disney allow 9 in the 2 bedroom for a few days?

I booked 9 in May with no problem. Check and see. We were at little crowded but wa had a blast.:goodvibes

They probably won't allow you to register 9 names on the reservation. The 2 BR, at least at BWV, has a king bed, a double bed, and 2 sleep sofas. That's a place for 8 as long as 4 don't mind sleeping on the sofa beds.

The maximum occupancy is listed as 8 with a child under 3 in a crib. So unless one child is under 3 it won't work.

Actually there's only one sleeper sofa...a room with king, another room with two queens, and then the double sleeper sofa, so definately bedding/room for 8. If someone doesn't mind a blowup mattress or sleeping on the floor then it "could" be done, but you could not register 9 guests. If they show up and stay with you, no one will be the wiser.---Kathy

There are three different bedding arrangements in the BCV 2 bedroom units. They are separate booking categories.

All 3 categories have 1 king bed in the master bedroom and a queen sized sleep sofa in the living room. The bedding in the second bedroom varies as follows:

1. Two queen beds. These units are dedicated (only one door to the hallway). There are not very many of these and they are generally not available for cash - only DVC members paying with points are assigned these units. Exceptions to this are very unusual.

2. One queen bed and a queen sized sleep sofa. These units are also dedicated.

3. One queen bed and a double sized sleep sofa. These are lock off units (could be used as a 1 bedroom unit and a studio).

IMHO, 9 people in a 2 bedroom would be very crowded - there are only 2 bathrooms.

In my experience, neither Member Services (for DVC members) nor CRO/WDWTC will allow 9 in a 2 bedroom unless one is under the age of 3. A portable crib (Pac 'n Play) is provided for the infant.

No one does bed checks as far as I know. However, an unregistered guest will not have a KTTW card, will not be able to take advantage of EMH, ME or any Dining Plan and will not be able to get into SAB (the main pool).

We're DVC members, getting a dedicated double queen room with points. My son and his wife will be with us for only a few days....3 nights. We typically ship things ahead so could ship an air matress and stow during the day.
