I can't believe I ever used IE, Firefox is so much better! I just can't stand all the sites that say for Internet Explorer or Netscape (what? Netscape still exists??) only. IE SUCKS! I can't believe how slow it is and no tabs! I don't know what I'd do without my tabs.

IE7 has tabs.

I think the OPERA 8.5 browser is far superior to Firefox or IE. It is very fast and has lots of neat options. I have Firefox, but always go back to using Opera.

I use FireFox, but don't feel it is so much better that any websites really need to be too concerned about not support it.

I love foxfire's tabs too! I mostly use foxfire but if a site isn't foxfire friendly then I have no problem opening up IE and running that too.

Same here! :thumbsup2

The new IE's tabs don't work as well... while another site is loading it takes longer for it to switch to another tab. I use FireFox also. I haven't tried Opera 8.5

Can anyone tell me how to copy and paste into a reply using Firefox? Yes, I know how to copy and paste:teeth: but, when I try pasting something into one of the DIS threads, I get a message that reads, "You need to edit your Mozilla config file."

CTRL + C = Copy
CTRL + V = Paste

To do it with a config file you have to manually add each website you want to do it with, the old way is much easier.

Holy moly! It worked! Thank you! I've been right clicking to copy and paste! If there has been something I wanted to paste on these boards, I've opened IE.

I use Firefox most of the time as well but I'm not against using IE. There are a few sites out there that don't support firefox but they might with time until then I just open up IE for a moment use it then go back to firefox!

I prefer Firefox but do keep IE loaded on my system because there are many sites that still require it. I hate having to use IE though--it really does seem to run & load pages slower.

There is an extension in FireFox that lets you open IE pages in the same tab. Its very helpful.
