This week's Web site is a little different for me, since it is designed more for women than men. However, the cynical side of me says anything that gets more available women in the sights of us guys can't be all bad.
Greatboyfriends.com is a site "where every single man comes with a woman's stamp of approval." They want women to recommend good boyfriends to other women.
The site lets women write up recommendations of guys who might be between girlfriends, shy or just had bad luck with women. There is a 45-question survey that asks questions about the potential boyfriend. Most are the basic info about the guy, but there are specific questions about what he likes, what he does, how much money he makes, etc.
Now, finding your true love (or at least a good date) isn't free. Registering costs $20, but you can get a couple of months free by recommending a single guy.
If you are a guy, you can sign-up a bunch of your girl friends to vouch for you. The site will send out e-mails to each and ask them about you. Make sure you only include those women who will say nice things about you.
Online dating is a hit or miss prospect. You really don't know (no matter how many chats you've had) what the guy is like around his friend. This site offers woman an inside source to men.
And why does that frighten me?

Sounds good to me.
