Site available for mid-October on DVC rent/trade board

Hi All,

Since I check out both DVC and Camping threads pretty frequently I thought I'd let you all know that there is a DVC-er looking to rent out a Ft. Wilderness preferred site in mid-October that they reserved with their DVC points.

I hope someone can use it for a trip to the Fort during MNSSHP time!

Today is monday...so it is possible my brain has not kicked in gear yet....

But how is $10 a point a good deal? Isn't it just about $30 to rent a spot each day?
I must be missing something...

Well, no, it is usually more and often quite a bit more than $30 a day for a site. I'd love to pay $30! Our site was about $50 a night this past weekend and we were happy to pay that.

30 points X $10 = $300 for 5 nights which is $60/night.

According to my DVC Points chart, the 6 points/night for Sunday night through Thursday night are for full hook-up sites. I have not called DVC to make ressies so the chart could be wrong and maybe the points are for preferred. If they are for a regular full hook-up then the price is way off.
