Okay everyone, I'm a frequent poster on the DIS and even more frequent lurker. Mostly I sit in the background, occasionally making comments. But now, I've decided to make my first ever PTR!
Cast:
Me--Jen, almost 19, lover of all things Disney!!
DSis--Steph, 25 (26 by trip), former CP and obviously a Disney nut!! (Will be graduating with a Masters in Early Childhood Education in Dec. hence the trip!)
DG-ma --Wilma (Nana), 77 by trip, loves Disney even if at a slower pace nowadays!!
I wasn't planning on starting my PTR yet, but my sister surprised me today with an early birthday gift!! My birthday is on March 28th but next Wednesday Beauty and the Beast is coming where she lives (roughly 1-1/2 hours away from my college) for one night only and since it's the night before my late day at school (or even if it wasn't) she's taking me to see it as an early present!!! (Also note this Spring Break will be the 2nd time she's gone to New York to see a friend...leaving poor lil sis home. The first time she remedied by taking me to WWoHP to the special Celebration of the 7 Movies and I got to meet so many stars!! Much better than NY!) Anyway...this is why I decided to start the PTR early!!!
A few more little facts about the trip!! My grandfather is retired military, so with Nana's ID we can stay at Shades of Green which is wonderful to save money and also be on-property! Buses will be much easier with her being on a scooter for most of the walking.
Oh, I'm also currently making us a Planning Binder for showtimes, ADRs, Cirque reservations, etc. so as I get more done on it I'll add pics to the PTR!!
Well, that's all I have for now! I'll be sure to update as often as I can if I see a response! Of course bear in mind I am in college!!
