Sister's 1st time - what park?

My sister invited me on a work conference trip to Orlando in March. She won't work on the weekend, so we plan on hitting some theme parks. I have been to all of the Disney Theme parks, but none of the other parks in Orlando.

Our plans are to hit a park on:
Friday, March 19 around 1:00 pm
Saturday, March 20 ALL DAY

She suggested hitting a Disney park on Friday and Universal on Saturday, because Universal is only open until 9 pm on Friday.

I am torn. I am a ROPE DROP person, so to go to Disney at 1:00 pm might be hard for me. I would like to take her to Epcot, but it is only open until 9:00 pm on the 19th, so I think the better choice would be Magic Kingdom.

We don't have our heart set on any parks. The only thing that sounds cool at universal is Harry Potter, but I don't think that will even be open when we are there.

Any tips, suggestions?? Ways to beat the crowds? What park should I take her to???

If you love rides and want to ride then go to Magic Kingdom

If you want to experience different cultures then go to Animal Kingdom which has Expedition Everest or EPCOT which has World Showcase, Test Track, Mission Space, and Soar'n

Also you can go to Hollywood Studios if you want action and to see shows. This has Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster


Or if you want to shop then go to Downtown Disney

MK would be a good bet for you on Friday. Get a touring plan for late arrival and you should be able to do a good bit.

Harry Potter won't be open yet. Does that change your mind about going? If so, I suggest going to Epcot. She'll get some fun thrill rides and y'all can enjoy a margarita or two around the WS.
