Sister Wives

Rumour about Meri not being there is false. She was.
Odd that Kody wasn't seated with Janelle at the wedding as parents of the groom. Wonder why.

just saw the photo-so the front row of the groom's side is christine, janelle and mary along with some of the adult kids while kody and robyn are in the 2nd row on the bride's side. weird.

I've seen weddings where there was no bride or groom side. It was we are all a family now sit where you want to sit.

At my nephew's outdoor wedding, there were no chairs marked for parents or grandparents of the bride or groom.

Is it just me or do they seem to swear/cuss a lot more than in the beginning? And they don't really talk about church or the reason they choose the lifestyle much anymore, I am not questioning anyone's faith but it is just something I noticed.

Yes, and there was a lot of talk about modest clothing and dressing.

Now, everyone dresses mainstream.

I have to say I was impressed by Truly. She's very articulate for her age and clearly understands the situation between her parents. Christine's done a good job raising her. It would serve Truly well to stay with her mother and be near her siblings in Utah. Kody should realize he's done little to raise her and shouldn't fight for 50/50 custody just to feed his ego or punish Christine.

Poor Truely and poor Gabe. 😢 Kody is breaking each of his kids hearts one by one.

Legally married or not they need a custody agreement. Anyone who does not live (happily) with their child’s other parent should have one. End of story. It’s very naive of Christine to think she doesn’t need one. Even the most amicable separations/splits can end up in bitter custody battles.

This reminded me of something from the episode..

When Christine snd Truely were talking on her bed, did anyone else get the feeling that it was staged or recreated? Truely really sounded like she was reading a script; she didn’t sound natural at all. She also kept looking at the camera.

I got the same vibe

And the abrupt memory that she was making ramen...

Yes, I did. Even turned to my husband and said they rehearsed it.

Totally staged. Didn’t sound heartfelt at all. Also didn't sound like words an 11 year old would use off the top of their head in an emotional situation.

It may have been staged with Truely but I would guess it was a re-creation of an original conversation or a recap of several. I didn’t get the vibe that she was pushed into saying words or thoughts that were not her own. Prepping for this conversation is certainly something I would do with my child in an uncomfortable difficult situation.

it felt scripted, like the child had been asked to stage the conversation and had an opportunity to gather her thoughts on paper beforehand. the words did not seem natural to the vocabulary we've normally heard truely use. it sounded more like what could be her written vocabulary which she then memorized for her responses.

Agreed on it being staged. No way did she not get told what to say. Everything down to "my dad didn't push me to further express my thoughts and feelings". That wasn't something Christine would say...at all!

Also, Christine said hers is the only name on the house. That isn't true, her *and* Kody's name was on the house, he took himself off the house and Christine "sold" them Coyote Pass. It makes things much more convenient when a false narrative can be pushed and one doesn't have to tell the truth.

her name is the only one on the house. Was does not matter the house was deeded to Christine.

When she bought the Flagstaff house, her LV house still hadn't sold, so she couldn't qualify for financing on her own. I believe Kody and Robyn loaned or paid some of her down payment, and Kody was on thetitle. After the LV home sold, she refinanced under just her own name.

She apparently deeded over the Coyote Pass property for a token fee. I'm assuming that's in exchange for whatever his down payment help had been on the house. I don't think anyone knows for sure. For him to act like she needed his help because she was weak and irresponsible is just ridiculous.

It did indeed feel staged. But I also think they are a very verbal family and Truely probably does have a great vocabulary. It felt like an "enhanced reenactment" to me.

So Kody thinks he's entitled to half or what Robyn has. But she's not entitled to half of what he has with any other wife. I can't believe he actually had the guts to say that. I'd love to see him argue that in court!

Does anyone know how close they are to paying off Coyote Pass? Just curious since they talk about it often. That invites the question!

I've heard they have some sort of creative financing with the owner and if they don't pay it off by mid-2023 it reverts back to the owner. So they have been some hybrid of owning and renting. Good luck to them getting better financing now.

New clip posted in US Magazine. Christine says they were struggling already in Vegas and Robyn says she's lying. Because apparently Robyn missed the episode of their show where Christine and Kody take their marriage counselor on vacation with them. Never mind how ridiculous it is that Robyn would try to claim she knows more about Christine's relationship than Christine. Toss in a side of Kody trying to throw some kids under the bus and it's a fascinating clip.
