True. Personally I think he is just wanting to pump his ego.It will be very sad at least for him when his looks may be gone and things don't work so well as we get older. And sometimes when I look at him, I get this odd Jim Jones / Charles Manson kind of vibe from him, told you it was odd.

I did go back and read the article and he did say after that that he didn't think he met all the wives needs either-really you think? lol

I wonder if Robin thinks she will be the last wife,lol.

I watch this show and while Kody is pretty cringe-worthy, I find him far more likable than Jim-Bob Duggar.

I agree! At least they live modern day lives and allow their kids to be exposed to other lifestyles.

Yep and at least the wives aren't afraid to complain about him and roll their eyes at him rather than that glazed over "my husband is my lord and master" that Michelle Duggar always has in her eyes.

I'm still getting over the time Bob had to discipline one of the toddlers for dancing to a baby toy that played "Pop goes the Weasel," because dancing is evil or something.

If so, it's clear that you and I will never see eye to eye.

However (if you are a Christian) perhaps you should re-read your Bible. Jesus was a descendant of "prostitutes" (a.k.a. polygamists) and there are plenty of other "prostitutes" celebrated in the Bible.

Yes, it did. It was about three may be four babies back, Michelle was about to give birth and Bob took the kids to a store to pick out presents for the new baby. All of a sudden one of the older boys gets this serious look on her face and gets Bob and points out to one of the little boys (who was about 3 at the time) dancing to some music eminating from a baby toy (I'm probably wrong about the song. Bob explained the the camera that the kids need to learn to control their bodies and that dancing leads to other things (or something like that).

Who watched the show after the show last night? I guess the show's editing did fool me, because I thought that the wives all liked each other, at least the first three. I had this idea that they should all just kick Kody out and raise their families together.

But I feel sad knowing they don't like each other all that much. I had been wondering why they didn't build one huge house instead of building a house for each wife. I guess they all want their own house, and don't want all that much together time.

Can you imagine being the young second wife and moving into the guest room of the first wife's house?

Not getting what the women get out of the life style.

I think Janelle and Meri are about the same age so it's not really fair to say the "young" 2nd wife moved in.

Them buying 4 new houses reminds me of when Jon and Kate bought their million dollar plus home. It's not even remotely close to "realilty tv" any more and even though I just started watching, I'm done. It's more like "let's get on TV and make a bunch of money, then watch us spend it."

I was trying to estimate how much money 4 houses would cost in LV. Anyone have any idea? Where did they get that much money? I also always wonder what Janelle's "career" was when she was in Utah.

As for the Sister Wives Jewelry...ahhh it looks a little like the open heart that Jane Seymore designed. And like I do not know about anyone else but the style does not look killer to me. How much money do you all estimate they get for doing the show?

I'm sure prices are flat in LV, but anything times 4, especially when sharing one of the breadwinners, has to be high. I haven't been watching long. Do any of the wives work outside the home (besides the jewelry thing)?

I don't have a clue what they make for the show. But the jewelry biz looks more like a hobby to me. The money has to be coming from somewhere.
