Is always nice to get one of those "fixes" :) we used to have a Disney info center where I live where you could stop and get tickets or make ressies... that would help for a real quick fix.

Am having a good time.. have to get the things moved to other suitcase for the flight tomorrow. Probably take run out to the store for something that were forgotten. Our arrival time to meet got bumped up too.

We used to stop at the info center everytime we went to Disney...until they closed it.:( It was kind of like a spot for the kids and myself to get that excitment of being closer to HOME. Hope you have a great trip Sha.

Hi everyone. Hope all is having a good day. Going to have a tooth pulled tomorrow.:scared1: I have always been scared to death of the dentist.

Okay, Okay.... Sign me up please.

I have been going over this with my Brother and Sister about going next year and I really want to go but I don't think they do. They'll probably be coming around the time Harry Potter opens at the other place. Plus I like the idea someone mentioned earlier that it's not so terrible when you leave knowing you're planning another trip already.

A little about me.
name: Doug
m/f: not many females named Doug /m
general location: The capital of Washington State.
preference for hotel: Not picky. I just sleep in it. Pops is cool.
share room?: I don't mind it. I don't snore and even though I'm from the Evergreen State, I don't do well around chain saws.
etc.: That's cool, I can do etc. If you have any other questions, feel free to axe me.

What About Bob.
Dr. Leo Marvin: All's I want is some peace and quiet!
Bob Wiley: Okay, I'll be quiet.
Siggy: And I'll be peace!

Hi :wave2: peeps!! made it home in one piece yesterday!!! Had a great time and was able to do alot in 48 hours!!!

Now time to plan for the next trip!!! :worship: :hyper: :woohoo:

rebecca06261 and care and NH_Bubba.. hows that ADR's coming along for Sept. 08 ????:goodvibes

Well ..... the results are in. It looks like we will be going to the World from Thursday October 22 to Monday October 26th, 2009 !!!! :yay: :yay: :scared1: :yay::yay:
Now next order of business ..... which tours would you all like to take part in ??? Let me know so I can start another poll so I can get an idea of numbers per event. If we have numbers of 8 or more we can be considered for the Grand Gathering events (I think I have the correct name) which have extra events/tours we can take. The more the merrier !!!

Now for a little announcement that is :offtopic: but it is great !!!
Last spring I started a kids' conservation/environmental group to do my part to help the earth. We do all our own fund raising and donate all the proceeds to charities that help animals and children worldwide. We took part in a ton of different events and we just found out that my son was one of the 32 finalists (one of the top 5 in Canada) in the Build *A*Bear Workshop's Huggable Heroes Contest. I am so very proud of him !!!! And our group was runner up in a nation wide contest with Earth Day Canada's EcoKids Challenge ( I think we were first in the province of Ontario). Considering we are a small group of 6 - 12 kids with no outside or school funding, I think we did an amazing job for our first year in existence !!!

I haven't done any tours so I'm open to any and all. However, KTTK would be tops along with the Epcot whatchamajig thingie (for the life of me I keep forgetting what that two-wheeler is called) :)

Do you mean Segway ????

rebecca06261 and care and NH_Bubba.. hows that ADR's coming along for Sept. 08 ????:goodvibes

Hi Timmy,

All of my ADRs are made for the trip. A wide variety of places including Akershus, Teppan Edo, Crystal Palace, Boma, and more. I can't believe it's just a tad over 3 months away. I think that I might even be able to scare up the courage to get on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (which was closed for rehab during my last trip) and ToT (which scared me to bits the only time I've been on it). How are your ADRs coming along?

Care

Yep.
Why? Do they have other thingamajig's at Epcot?

Ummmmmmmmm -- they might by the time we get there !!!! I guess it all depends on what you consider a thingamajij ! :rotfl:

Hey all, just popping in to say hi! And yeah!!! My dates were popular!!! I'm now marking it in PEN in my calendar for next year.

Also, just wanted to put my two cents in for tours...I just took the KTTK tour and Segway Around the World at Epcot on my first solo trip in May. All I can say is AWESOME!!!! on both counts!!!! So good in fact that I'd probably do them again. They also offer CAA/AAA discounts on both these tours too.

I'd be up for the Backstage Magic tour...the big expensive long one that goes to all the parks.

Thanks for the update !!! :woohoo: The Backstage Tour might be a really good one to start our mini vacation off, so everyone can get aquainted, an ice breaker event -- what does everyone else think ???

:( I am so sorry you can't make it ... can you come down for part of the weekend and stay later into the next? At least that way you could still take part in parts of the gatherings.

And please .... if anyone else in that situation - even if you can't be there for the whole time, try and be there for the weekend part. Maybe come down with a friend on the Tuesday and stay until Sunday OR come down on the Friday/Saturday and stay until early in the following week. This trip can't accomodate everyone for everything but we will try our best to include all that want to be there for at least part of it !!!! Life is too short not to have fun !!! ;)

haven't worked on that at all but I did extend my trip to 11th:yay: Now I should probably get off my butt and work on the ADR's. Been on the road more than I've been home this month. I've been in KC this week and off to Hong Kong for 7 days leaving next Friday. I'll have to see I can't set aside sometime this weekend to take care of this. Unless it's nice out cause Bike week starts this weekend in NH:moped:

Welcome back Ants! As of now I'm still in for the Oct '09 trip.... however it appears I've met someone (sorta kinda)....But hey, don't let that bother you! I haven't had a relationship last more than 3 months in recent years, so the chances of me being single again in Oct '09 are still favorable! :thumbsup2

Oh yeah, Jenroc - congrats:woohoo:

I'm doing the keys to the kingdom tour in September. I vote for the thingamagigies at Epcot too! :hyper: I'm also a complete geek so I'll probably sneak in a Behind the Seeds tour too:rolleyes: ... other than that, we need to talk grand gatherings!

I was at epcot a couple of weeks ago and ran across a grand gathering in action, it looked very appealing ::yes::
