Singles and PhotoPass

This isn't a complaint: just an observation.

One thing I noticed while visiting WDW alone is that the PhotoPass photographers completely ignore you. The ones at character photo-ops are fine, but the wandering ones (such as along Main Street) don't even seem to notice you. If you go up and say "Could you take my picture?", they're happy to do it, but they always have a startled look like you just beamed in.

So just a warning: if you're going it alone and want PhotoPass pictures, be sure to speak up!

Now that I've thought about it, it makes sense. Most singles are people heading off to or from their families, so why bother them when the group isn't all together? But it was interesting to notice while I was wandering the parks. I had all of 4 Photopass pictures taken, all at the same character photo-op.

That is funny you say that becuase last fall they always asked if I wanted a picture. I was asked at all of the parks (your typical in from of the castle, Spaceship earth, tree of life etc.) and at all of the charchter lines I went through. I declined all of them becuase I wasn't going to pay $16 or whatever the heck it is for a picture.

I just got back last Fri from 1st of yearly solo trips, ( I leave DH home with the other dogs, meaning I travel with one..not that DH is a dog not today anyway) and I had great experiences got some very unique pics...total of 133 on that CD I purchased, all the photographers came up with unique pics too...examples ? Me and the horse that pulls the trolley in MK, just at the right second he nuzzled my neck ! Others were the baloon sellers handed me their balloons and I look like I am selling them/or bought them all. In MGM I am standing with my hands in the air and the pic looks like I am "wearing" the Sorcerers' Hat... I LOVE my solo trips and all the Photopass photographers
