The last couple times I have been to Epcot and HS, hoping to use single rider lines for TT and RnR, they have been closed. I was wondering if we just had back luck, or is it hit or miss if the single rider lines are open? We are heading down over Easter and hoping to use single rider lines for those attractions since we picked Soarin' and Toy Story for our fast passes.

Is anyone down there now that can help? Or anyone who has experience with the availability of singe rider lines during peak crowd days?
Thank you!!

I'm thinking that you just had bad luck. Every time we've been to WDW, the single rider line has been open for those attractions, as well as for EE.

The generally aren't open early in the morning.

Keep in mind that the single rider line for RnRC often takes as long (or longer) than the standby line.

My experience is that the RnRC single rider line is hit or miss. There have been many times we've gone to the ride hoping for single rider only to find that line closed, and not just in the morning. It's happened to us in mid-afternoon and early evening. But as @Alesia mentioned, the single rider line at RnRC can take as long or longer than the regular standby line.

I don't know that I've ever encountered the single rider line at TT closed, but that may just be our luck.

I see people say this all the time, and I have never experienced this in my many times using the single rider line there. Maybe have waited 20 minutes at most.

I would have said the same before 2015 - my memory was that the RnRC singles line was always a good deal. When we went that year, though, the singles line was closed most of the times we went by, and when they did open it briefly we ended up waiting in it just as long as the posted 50 minutes for standby, with the added bonus of there being no guarantee that the line would keep moving at any given time. The explanation they'd given us was that they closed the line whenever it got so full that it wasn't any quicker than standby.

I think maybe too many people caught on to it and started using it, and/or the CMs have switched to putting odd-numbered groups together to fill gaps instead of pulling from the single riders line (i.e. filling two rows with two groups of three instead of putting a single rider with each group). It's weird, though, because the single rider line at EE was still quick as anything and that's also a two-per-row coaster.

Consider yourself lucky. Last time I went through single rider at RnR was probably a year ago and I'd say I waited about 30 min, wasn't terrible but wasn't quick. Last time I waited for someone to go through single rider was my nephew about 2 years ago and I believe it was about a 60 minute regular wait, he did standby and took him about 50-55 min. He came off and said he would never do that single rider line again.

Thank you for the responses and especially the RnRC single rider feedback!! I will keep this in mind.

I used to think the same - until my last trip. I got stuck in that line for almost an hour! :scared1: Still, one bad experience doesn't outweigh many good ones & I will continue to use SR as long as HS has tiering.
