I've doen the single rider line, even with a group of friends, since it is so fast. How does it compare to the FOTL wait? I'll probably be hitting a few rides by myself and leaving the wife with the kids, so I can choose either option.

Just got back from my trip and went to the parks by myself a couple times. I stayed with the FOTL line.

Some rides have faster Universal Express lines than single rider lines. Some of the single rider lines are actually faster than the Universal Express lines. I think the single riders line for Men in Black is the fastest and the single riders line for Spider-Man is the slowest. Dr. Doom's Fearfall single riders line tends to move slow, particularly during busy times.

The advantage of Universal Express is that your party can ride together. The single riders line fills single seats as they become available. No, you can't ride together if you are in the single riders line. Believe it or not, I've seen people ask or wait for seats for their entire party to become opening in the single riders line.

I done single rider lines at both parks and they seem to move pretty quick. I remember Spiderman taking a bit, though. Not nearly as long as the regular line. I was there with three friends and we always went single rider. We figured we could ride twice as much that way and we didn't need to sit next to each other for the 3 minutes the ride lasted. Funny thing is, half the time we ended up in the same car, sometimes next to each other anyway. No, we never asked to be put together!

This always ticks me off BIG TIME!!! Then the line gets tied up because there's usually an argument. Single riders means you ride ALONE, people!

I completely agree!

Agree that the single rider line for Spiderman was packed when we went, about 20 people waiting. I think the attendants must push it when people walk up and ask about the wait time. The others seem to be ok.

Of coarse, if you go during peek time of the parks (1pm - 4pm), you'll wait about 20 minutes for express or single rider depending on what ride it is.
