Which attractions in each of the parks have single rider lines? We're a family of 5 with a 10/8/1 year olds and I'll have to ride some of the more popular attractions like TOT, BTMR etc by myself as my wife won't even ride those with me. We will be there the first week of September and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I think it depends on ride preference and how you plan to tour the park. Since Test Track, Frozen, and Soarin' are all Tier 1 attractions and you can only initially pick one of them for FP+, you can use FP+ on Frozen or Soarin' (which don't have single rider options) and then be a single rider Test Track.

That’s the best pkan if you can take advantage of SR. Because of geography, as long as you’re entering from the main entrance, I’d FP Frozen, RD Soarin’, and immediately after rope dropping Soarin’ SR Test Track. However, remember that SR skips the interactive part (I think, and so does FP), and Test Track’s chance of being down in the morning is more than any other ride at WDW.

If you’re coming from IG entrance, FP Soarin’ and RD Frozen.

I've only found EE SRL to work the most efficiently.

I can't tell you why it works differently than RNR, but it just does.

I pick someone wearing something identifiable entering line at same time as me & yes, they ride in regular line before me in SRL.

TT, really depends, but important to know that single riders don't get the same opportunity to create a car that regular & FP riders do. So, you can go into exit gift shop to the car display area where you will find 2 kiosks to create a car & save to MB or ticket card, then go to SRL.

ETA: I've found EE & RNR SLR's to be closed at times. Usually at opening until lines & wait times build.

Will you be riding those rides with your older two children?

We used the single rider line at Test Track last week and walked all the way to the loading area. We rode 4 times in 30 minutes. They had the single rider line stated as 30 minutes but it was more like 3 minutes. I had never before ridden the TT 4 times in a day.

Test Track SR line has been the most efficient in my opinion. Due to the awkward seating in the cars. There's usually at least one, most times two seats for the SR line in every car.

Everest also works well, and I'm puzzled as to why RnR doesn't. They're the same types of vehicles. Maybe because of RnR's place on the ranking of rides in HS as opposed to Everest at AK? Maybe due to the SR line being right next to the regular line. If memory serves, Everest's is around the corner to the right. I have had good luck at RnR in the early morning before crowds build. I'd say before 10am it's not that bad. In the afternoon, it's not going to save you much/any time in my experience.

I had no idea you could use those kiosks in the gift shop and save it to your MB. What an awesome way to still have that experience but still utilize the SRL wait!

I think on RnRC it has something to do with how they load the pre-show. It always seems like a confused mess and they forget to take Single Riders, etc. Then once past that, its just a normal line, so they don't necessarily load it by taking from an SR queue. They do ask for single riders occasionally, but I think it varies widely by the CMs working loading. EE has no pre-show and runs much more smoothly.

We have found the single rider lines to work well.
Sometimes we have ended up in the same car, RnRC and TT, and sometimes not even close.
The wait is often much shorter.
You just have to understand that most likely you will be split up. IF you aren't, its a bonus, but don't expect it to happen.
I have done RnRC single rider several times and it flowed smoothly. Wierdly, the last time, they filled the last 2 cars (except the back row) exclusively from the single rider line.

Correct.

The Rock 'n' Rollercoaster single rider line often takes longer than the standby line.
I bet Falcons single rider will be on par with or longer then standby too

Also let me join the camp that didn’t know that test track gift shop trick

More than likely not, because they don't really like roller coaster type ride or thrill rides. I do, so it'll be me while mommy and kiddos do something less crazy.

Millenium Falcon Smugglers Run, opening on Aug 29 in DHS, also has Single Rider.
Safe to assume it skips some fun theming? :/ I always have to assume that my first time riding something I'm going to do standby so I can see the full queue, even if I skip it by doing FP or SR later.

That's always been my big issue with SR lines. At least at EE the SR line has similar theming to the regular line and is worth seeing [edit: I think I was thinking of the FP line]; at TT it feels like you're just shuffled through as fast as they can move you. I heard about the gift shop kiosks on these boards a while ago and I'm looking forward to finally getting to design a car. Honestly, I never felt like I had enough time even in standby.

RnR single rider takes so long because the CM will not fill each car with odd number guests with SR immediately. They will fill seats from regular line first then just fill the one or two odd seats at the end. RnR single rider line is definitely not faster
