Single parent survival tips for Parades and Fireworks, please

Hmm. I've never tried anything past the Tomorrowland bridge.

My memory is a bit foggy on this, so please don't go by me. I know I've seen reports from people who like viewing from Fantasyland, but I've never tried it. I know there is a short fence by Crystal Palace that I would think would be a decent area to view from, but I don't know how quickly it fills up.
If fireworks are important to you, then maybe a wishes FP+? I know most people don't recommend giving up a ride for them (and I certainly wouldn't give up an Anna/ Elsa or Mine Train FP+ for it!). But, I would have jumped at the chance for one when the kids were younger. If you have 2+ days at MK it might be worth it.
Another possibility is to not worry about Wishes (and just see what you can see while touring the park). And then just see Illuminations and/ or Fantasmic.
