Single parent - panama trip

i am a single parent taking my 2 kids (9&11) on the Panama canal trip in May. I'm curious if there will be other single parents or will I be playing lone wolf or 3rd wheel when my kids say "see ya dad".

I am also a single parent and have always found several other single parents. We did Panama 2 years ago and it was one of the best cruises we did. I can tell your Panama day will be an early morning. I know you will have a great time with the kids.

There's a great trip report written by a Mom taking her two boys on the PC trip. I think her DIS names is GooniesAndy, and the title was something like "I have a WONDERful feeling about this." She made lots of friends on her cruise group...

We were on that cruise with her. We all had a great time. Our kids had a conga line in their PJs on deck 4 as we went in to the first lock. Really fun memories.

Larry, in answer to your concern about being a "lone wolf", you have no worries! I'm sailing with my husband, and we are not always together on the ship - he has his routine and I have mine!

Larry, an online search of the daily Navigator (daily activities guide) will be fun reading for you and your kids. Activities from last year may not happen this cruise, but it is helpful. Search Disney Wonder Panama canal Navigators. Enjoy!
