Single Line Rider/Fast Pass?parent Swap

My husband said last night he wants to try EE at AK. Would he get a fast past, and be a single line rider? My boys and I will not be riding.

Also can some explain to me the parent swap? Our kids are 2 and 5, our 2 YR old is not 40 inches.

If your husband is riding alone, use the single rider line for EE. EE is one of three attractions at WDW that has a single rider line. That way, he can use his fastpass for another attraction.

Child swap, everyone approaches the CM at the attraction entrance, advise the CM that you would like to use child swap, the CM will give you a pass that allows the rest of your party to enter the fastpass line once the first of your party have gone through the standby line and enjoyed the attraction. I believe the pass is good for up to 5 people.

I would guess that a fastpass is better than a single rider line because it should be faster. It is also flexible because you usually do not have to back within the hour window, you usually have the rest of the day to use the pass.
With child swap, you show up to the entrance of the ride with your group. The CM will issue a pass to let you return to the fastpass entrance to ride again. It is good for the rest of the day and you do not have to ride right away. It is good for 3 riders total, I believe.
If the ride has fast passes, you will only need a pass for those riding the first time, do not get a pass for those that will use the child swap pass, it is not necessary

I would do both.

Think of it like a Now n' Later: Single Rider for now, Fastpass for later!

I did this last week and used Fast Pass (nothing else at AK we would get FP for anyhow). I asked CM on duty and she said with FP you will be on in 5-10 min but single rider varies depending on where they can fit them in. I was on in 5 min and my riding partner was from the single rider line. He said his wait was about 25 min. DH and girls went to wait in Nemo show line so I am glad it didn't take me too long.

Also think doing both is a good idea and I might have to do that next time!!!
