Single DVCers?

I'm curious as to how many of us are single, no matter the circumstances. How many points to you own and how often do you vacation?

Just me & the DD17. 300 pts total (150 BCV, 150 OKW). We "do" something Disney twice a year.

Another me and DD23....we bought BWV to start new magical memories for mother/daughter.
I'm sure my 'share' will pass on to her someday, and then she can decide what to do about it in 2041!!!!

It's me, the mom; 42 and my DS (16) his father is deceased 9 years. My son and I have been going since 98 and I bought SSR last April. I'll put his name on the deed as soon as he's old enough. We have 160 points, went 3 times last year on them. This year I used way too many points and used 2006 points as well! But, we have AP's and I'll use them to go again before next May. On average we go twice a year.

Another Mom with daughters here--mine are 20 and 14. I have 250 pts at BWV and go to WDW 3-5 times a year. I don't always bring the kids, as I also enjoy going solo and with friends.

BTW I posted a thread like this about 8 months ago, and was amazed at the amount of single DVC-ers that responded. There are a lot of us out there.

I am single with no kids with 300 SSR points. I love to invite friends and family but still manage to do 2-3 trips per year. I don't mind traveling alone and have a lot of fun but I also love to share the magic.

Last summer I had a two bedroom at BCV with my Aunt, Uncle, 16 yo cousin, another aunt and 85 yo GM. I have taken my father and brother and have gone alone. I am going later this summer and spending a few days with friends at the park (they are staying at CBR for their daughter's wedding) and hope to go either in December or January.

Me too - single with DDs 11 and 16. I have 330 points, 165 at HH and 165 at BCV. I think we'll usually go once a year to Hilton Head and do something Disney every other year, using our BCV points to get HH at the 7 month mark for a second summer trip if we don't go to WDW. I also go solo and have used some points for that twice this year.

I'm a single gal, too. No kids, 200 SSR points. I go 2-3 times a year, and bring whoever. This year I brought my father, next trip my best friend. Next years trips, I'm bring dad again, and later on in '06 my bf is coming w/me for his 1st ever WDW vacation!

40 and no kids. HAve managed to get to FL at least one a year the past few years. 150pts HHI.

Single and no kids here - 370 Pts @ OKW - I go to WDW twice a year on average.

Count me in to the single DVCers. I have 524 points (420 at OKW and 104 at BWV). I just purchased them in October but I typically make about 4 trips each year. I plan to take family and friends (which makes them all quite happy!).

I own at BCV and VWL - just me and the "kids" DD18, DS20, DD23. Try to go twice a year, once with the kids and once without.

I have OKW 240, VWL 60 and BWV 50 - for a total of 350 points.

I go several times a year - 3 to 7 times - depending upon work.

I just went in May - but I am going back this week....(not staying at a DVC resort - got the moderate with postcard for $79 per night)

sometimes I take family and friends. sometimes I go solo. sometimes I send family without me. just depends!!!

Single, no kids, 200 pts @ SSR. First trip Home is in October with family. It will be my nephew's first trip to WDW.

You're right - I could have answered my own question. After my divorce, I bought 150 points at the VWL. I'm happy to report I just added on another 50 points. I'm looking forward to many happy Disney trips in the future. I've been going 1-2 times a year, but should be able to really stretch 200 points. I have a 16DS, so I "might" share with him one day.

Single mom with 2 boys 15 and 17. We go at least once/year on our 210 points, but this past year, went on annual pass rate in Feb as well!

Single father of 2 DS, with families of their own. Bought BCV before it opened in 2002 and have added on twice all at BCV, now have a total of 600 pts.
Trying to make it a point to go 4 times a year, including at least 1 or 2 solo trips.
