Single DVCers?

Single father of 2 DS, with families of their own. Bought BCV before it opened in 2002 and have added on twice all at BCV, now have a total of 600 pts.
Trying to make it a point to go 4 times a year, including at least 1 or 2 solo trips.

And I thought I was doing well with 425 points:earseek:

Single mom here, 195 BCV/230VWL . The annual pass is getting a work out around 3 times per year, end of August, Halloween or first week in Dec. and the rest when the mood hits me :smooth:

I'm single, with no children and have 397 points at BVC, BWV, VWL, and SSR. I bought DVC because our family outgrew our offsite timeshare and I was tired of sleeping on the couch. I created a monster, though- I invited my parents to come along on one trip to see what DVC is all about, and now they get upset if I don't invite them to join me!

I'm single, no kids that I know about..... bought 200 pts at SSR about a month ago. Haven't made it home just yet, but will spend my B-Day as a DVC member in October at WLV.

Mostly I bought so that I could use this for family trips. I have 6 nieces/nephews, and watching them enjoy the parks is more fun then going alone.

Single-ish here. I own 100 points at OKW and 130 at SSR. I average twice a year but, going 3X this year.

Never been married, never had children, 300 points at BCV. I go to Orlando about once a month, usually for a long weekend since I'm off work every other Monday. I don't always stay on points.

Single-ish? Isn't that like being a little bit pregnant? ;)

There was a comedian named Mitch Hedberg whom some of you may know (unfortunately he recently passed away). One of my favorite of his jokes goes something like this:

"I don't have a girlfriend but I DO have someone who'd be really pissed if she heard me say that". :teeth:

We're together, not together. Together, not together. It's caused by 250 miles of seperation. Using logic to stay apart and then listening to the heart again. My Life is a soap opera. I can appreciate the entertainment value of it in some strange, warped way.

LOL. I've used this line before, but I think it'd be easier for me not to know than it would for you, Sarah... :rotfl:

I love Mitch! I hear him all the time on XM, and am sad that he is no longer with us.

Single english girl with 250 OKW points. New owner this year and came back from my first visit home last month :flower: .

I travel with friends and family up to three times a year so it made sense to join! Got a great deal on a resale - especially with the pound to the dollar exchange rate at the moment!

Snagged 50 pts. @ OKW - seems like such a small number compared to everyone else - but plan on expanding as soon as possible!!!

Oh, 40ish and single (just don't let DBF hear this)!!! :cool1:

Another Single gal here... no kids of mine own.. I just borrow everyone elses!! I own 250 at SSR.. a new member since February :) and I travel down about 2 times a year...3 if my boss is in a really good mood!! LOL!!!

I own 250 points at OKW and 350 points at VWL. I go down twice a year. I like having the extra points as I try to bring friends/family and need the extra to get a 2 bedroom.

VWL Thanksgiving 2005

I am single with no kids. However, I always take family members with me, usually involving kids (I have multiple siblings and lots of nieces and nephews).

I own 210 points.
If a new resort, close to the parks, has points for sale, after my house is paid off (and I still have a good job) I may buy more points.

I visit about once every 1.5 years. The trips tend to be with different people.
I go to DL more often.

150 points at BWV
150 points at VWL
:)

on average twice a year but this year... love my DVC

Single with 150 at Boardwalk Villas. Go once a year in December.

Single with no children. I have 150 BWV points and in the process of buying a small add-on of 50 points at the VWL. I go once a year or every other year usually with family members and this almost always includes children.

Single with no children and around 500 points. I go as often as I can an normally go solo. I do give points to friends and family every now and then.

Hi;
I do that (borrow my friends children); they get a chuckle out of it. Some of the events and rides you just need small children and watch their expressions. Of course, I also tell them could they see me as a single male riding on the teacups? With children or a date, yes; by myself, not a chance!
