Which lyric show do you prefer between The Singing Bee or Don't Forget the lyrics?

I personally prefer The Singing Bee. Faster pace show and more lively. Joey Fatone is a fun host too. I'm happy this show will be on for the fall. I think it's hilarious

Don't forget the lyrics wins my vote! I could watch Wayne Brady for hours (he's my new celebrity boyfriend, shh don't tell anyone). I love the contestants they find. Very entertaining.

That girl they had on the first show was an absolute doll. And Wayne Brady is good. I love quick witted people.

I watch both (bit of a music geek in high school, so I'm into the music-y game shows lol!). But I prefer Singing Bee. Love that it's faster paced! None of this, "Ok, we're going to show you the last 3 words!!! Ooh, now we're going to show you the first word!!! Now we're going to go to commercial! And now that we've wasted 10 minutes, we tell you that you got the 2nd word wrong!!! UGH!. And I like that they have real singers on Singing Bee rather than just having everyone suffer through someone who can't sing for an hour.

I like Singing Bee. I think Joey Fatone is the perfect host for it. He's fun and loves music. Glad to see he found this job - it is perfect for him.

Exactly how I feel. Don't Forget the Lyrics has tooooo many commercials. They drag the show out for an hour showing bits & pieces of the words. Drives me nuts!!! I'm like come on with it. Singing Bee gets right down to it. Much faster. Love the live professional singers too.

Don't Forget the Lyrics is the favorite in our house. Wayne Brady is excellent as host. Loved one particular contestant that was on a few weeks ago! That guy could sing!!

I voted for Singing Bee!!! I just wish I knew more of the songs, they're too old. LOL. Don't get me wrong, I've heard of some of them, but know the words?!?!? Yeah right.

I also agree about it being faster paced than DFTL.

Couldn't stand Don't Forget the Lyrics--it was way too drawn out and just too long.

Singing Bee is fast paced, fun and for me, very very easy!

That was probably my favourite moment on singing bee!!! And of course the guy got it wrong.

I hate the Singing Bee. I love Don't forget the Lyrics, but I agree they take way too many commercials. That's how they can afford to pay the contestants though so I understand why they do it. It would be nice if the show was on for an hour each night instead of 1/2 hour one night, and an hour the next.
