Since Easter falls on 4/16/06, how do these dates sound?

We were planning on a March 2006 trip, but we want to make sure Everest will be open, so we are pushing our dates.

Since Easter is 4/16 of next year, we are planning on going 4/24/06 thru 5/4/06.

A couple of questions though.

1. I am assuming the weather will be very good, is this correct? We are looking to do Discovery Cove this trip, and we are hoping that the weather will cooperate.

2. How will the crowds be? I am assuming that since we are starting a week after Easter, the crowds should be moderate.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks,
Ron

from a CM was that the week before Easter, the week of Easter and the week after Easter are premium times. We went from 3/20-3/27/05 (just got back) and the parks were crowded but manageable. If you have some sort of idea of how you are going to tackle the park, fastpass, early entry, leaving and returning later on then you should be fine. We bought the Unofficial Guide and it helped beyond words.

Hope this helps.

Starting to plan our next trip to WDW!!

Alida,

How was the weather?

Was it warm enough to swim and wear shorts all day?

I would consider late March next year, but I really want to ride Everest.

We had about two days of high 80's, the other days were high 70's. We had heavy rains on two or three days but it cleared up fairly quickly. We had a great time... wore shorts and swam. Even managed to get a small tan.
