Resorts with easy gondola access - will they become more popular ?
CBR is the moderate with great gondola options.
Maybe CBR prices will increase ?
Will CBR take the popularity away from POFQ ?

What do you think ?

I think initially it may be a draw for people who were on the bubble ( should I or shouldn't I give it try ). It will be a needed additional mode of transportation once the Riviera is completed as well.

Who knows.

As it is our favorite Moderate by far already, we really hope not. But our think our hopes will be dashed.

I imagine many more people will walk around/eat at CBR since the Pop/AofA guests will need to change gondolas there. Definitely an easier, more convenient place for many to get to now.

Overall, I think it will become a more popular place to visit, if not stay at.

Transportation issues are a HUGE consideration for me (so I'll assume others). Its more important than restaurant choices, bed width, interior/exterior doors, pools/hot tubs, etc. etc. That said, CBR is just too spread out for me to consider it & its multi-bus stop layout. Will wait to see what it does to rates, reports on timing of walk to the station, etc. I do think it will increase restaurant usage.

Never stayed there before and now considering it, so it's a "YES" for me.

Probably. We just booked it for February 2020 and wouldn’t have considered it without the gondola.

I definitely made my plans for CBR with the gondolas in mind, as well as the fact that it was recently refurbished. I think others will be thinking the same thing.

The gondolas definitely nudged us in the direction to try it out, especially since we spend so much time in the world showcase.

It took it out of the running for me. We thought it would probably be too busy. So maybe a bunch of people will avoid it for the same reason making it perfect for everyone who stays there lol

I'm guessing it will be more popular, but only time will tell. We are a family of 5 and since the cost of park tickets for 5 people is already substantial and since we are already limited on where we can stay, cost is my biggest issue. If the gondola pushes CBR to be substantially more than POR (our other mod option for 5) I will probably go with POR. If costs are the same or close, I would probably pick CBR for the gondola.

I think it will be, with the gondola I’m now considering it. I just can’t wrap my head around the price.

Yeah I had sticker shock when I was pricing out next summer. But I'm part of an extended family trip and we needed to nail down dates. Hopefully there are discounts next summer...

I never would have considered CBR given the sheer size of it, but now I think I would if I could get a preferred room also as the Gondola's are a nice added extra mode of transport that others don't have.

If we were to ever stay there it would have to be with a discount. Those preferred rooms are not worth the 356.00 we would be paying. I’d rather do a deluxe for not much more.

We stayed at CBR twice, prior to construction and both times in Martinique. With the changes there, I'd try it out again especially with the quick hops to DHS and EP. We stayed at POP last time we went (2 years ago) and that was fine, first time at a Value. CBR is not as spread out as people think to believe. Yes, you walk, but we did at POP too. Id rather have the bus stop right outside my buildings than having to walk to get to my room after a long day. Time will tell, I am sure the price/discounts for CRB will be the deciding factor. It has changed a lot since our last stay, so it may have a very different vibe than last time.

But what deluxe is really "not much more" than that these days? We priced out our fall trip and it is indeed around $350 after tax for a CBR preferred room, but the cheapest deluxe is Boardwalk at close to $600 a night. We've stayed at Boardwalk before when it was around $400 a night, but those kinds of prices just aren't around unless you are traveling at a steep discount time (i.e., summer). This will be only our second time ever staying moderate instead of deluxe, and the skyliners were a huge factor.
