...where should we go if it's full to the brim? :confused3

I'd hate to be without a TS restaurant on our first full day. :(

Worst case -- don't forget that BnC's menu is pretty-much available through room service at the YC&BC.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you not want to make an ADR for your first night and that is why you have choosen B&C? or some other reason?

If the wait is too long, you could try any of the places across the lake at the Boardwalk. Spoodles is always good. Also, there is Yacht Club Galley in the Yacht Club. You could probably get in there without an ADR.

Beaches and Cream is not much of a TS restaurant. It consists of a few booths. There are outside tables for take-out which you could use if the inside is crowded. If your looking for a TS meal on your first day in the Beach Club area without a ADR there is also ESPN for burgers, sports pub type food, Big River Grill for the same type of meal or as others have mentioned spoodles and the Yacht Club Galley. Beaches and Cream is a good ice cream place and serves good burgers, but I've never been impressed with them. I feel that it is possibly the most over-rated restaurant on these boards. A guess is that it probably has seats for 50 or so guests. Have fun, I'll be there soon.

Yachtsman Steakhouse and Cape May Cafe are both quite close to Beaches and Cream, but both are usually pretty crowded and may not be able to take a walk up customer. Yacht Club Galley is another 50 feet past the Steakhouse and is much better at being able to accept walk ups. If that doesn't appeal to you, you can walk around the lagoon and try the restaurants at the Baordwalk - I would recommend Big River Grille (it is one of my favorites, although it does get a lot of negative reviews on this site) or Spoodles. Stay away from ESPN Club; bad food!

Well it's not that we don't want to make ADRs on our second day (but it is our first full day), it's just that we think Beaches & Cream looks good.

Yacht Club Galley looks like an option, as long as we asked for no white cheddar in the mashed potatoes, because it has good sounding food and it's inexpensive. (We're saving a TS credit so we can have breakfast on the final day.)

But, what would I do if Yacht Club Galley is full? :confused3
Eat at a CS in Epcot?

Do you mean you are on the Disney Ding Plan but plan to pay out of pocket the first night? Or you want to use a TS credit the first night?

Yacht Club Galley is a good choice for using a credit I think and is not usually very crowded. Same for out of pocket.

If you do want to pay out of pocket, another option would be Crew's Cup which is the lounge next to Yachtsman's Steakhouse. It offers sandwiches and even a steak after 5. It is not listed as an option on the DDP but I meant to stop in and ask if it was anyway this trip. Alas I never got around to it.

Okay, it's our second night techinally. :rotfl:

And yes, we plan to pay OOP. I'll have to check the menu of Crews Cup for incase BnC and YC Galley are full.

I guess my question would be - Why not make an ADR for that night? If you are worried about availability that is the way to go. Is it that your first choice is Beaches & Cream? We have eaten here and I enjoyed it, but it is the only restaurant that DS said he did not want to go back to. It is great for ice cream though.
To answer your last question, yes there is lots of good CS food in Epcot. So worst case you could indeed eat there. The Tangerine Cafe in Morocco has good food, and there is Harry Ramsdens Fish & Chips in the UK. The Cantina in Mexico has okay Mexican food, and there is decent CS in Japan - sorry I can't remember the name of it. Lots of good reviews about the new eating area in the Land too.
Don't worry, you won't go hungry.

There are many table service restaurants in the Boardwalk/Beach Club area that won't be full. Don't worry about not having an ADR, you will eat in a nice sit down restaurant on that night, without an ADR.
If you want casual then try ESPN or Big River Grill for burgers and pub food. The Crews cup is also good but may be crowded.
If you want to just have a pizza on the boardwalk there is Spoodles take out window. You can also order pizza and appetizers at Martha's Vineyard at the Beach Club.
If you want a nice moderately priced restaurant then there is the Yacht Club Galley, never gets too crowded. Spoodles also seems to be relatively easy to get in to .
Over at the Dolphin is Palio, a very good italian restaurant that is also very reasonable. There is never a crowd there.
Higher priced meals are at the Yachtsman Steak House (excellent, I'd call during the day to make an ADR there) and Flying Fish. Both Excellent choices. The Blue Zoo and Shula's steak house are also at the Swan (Dolphin?, I never get those two straight).

In General, don't worry. You won't miss out on anything and you'll have a great time.

By the way, Beaches and Cream is the least desirerable restaurant in the area. It's a good place for an ice cream but don't go there expecting great food. It's really just an ice cream parlor that serves burgers and fries.

PS: After dinner if your all over 21 go to JellyRolls, a great place to spend the night.

If you really want to eat at BnC then go at a non-traditonal meal hour. You should be seated more quickly than if you try at the traditional lunch or dinner hour.
