Sims 2: Pets - Who Has Pre-Ordered?

I did, from CompUSA just now!

I had trouble getting the Glamour Life Stuff last month. Around here Target is the only store that gets it in on the release date, but I didn't make it up there until a couple days later and they were sold out so I had to get a rain-check and got it a week later. Wasted gas to do that, so decided to just pre-order Pets and pay the $5 shipping.

Can't wait to get it!! I LOVED pets for the original Sims and I know this one will be even MORE fun!!

I have been looking all over for expansion packs for the Sims 2. I only found one in Toys R Us over the weekend. Looks like I am going shopping on CompUsa. Thanks!

CompUSA said estimated shipping date is October 18.

I see the Holiday expansion pack (without the Sims 2) is coming out too. I had already gotten Sims 2 when it first came out, so was disappointed to see the holiday pack ADDED to Sims 2. I didn't need ANOTHER Sims 2 so didn't get it, now it is coming out by itself so I will definitely get that one! I miss the Christmas tree from the original Sims!!

I hope they come out with the Vacation expansion pack soon, I really miss having my Sims go on vacation!!

I want to preorder this but I'm having issues with the Kid's Stuff and Glamour Stuff packs. My wall's start flashing and they claim I have to update my computer's video card and I can't afford to. I tried downloading an update but that didn't work. I'm hoping that if I go ahead and buy this and install it I won't have the same problems as I do with the Stuff Packs. It seems funny that all the Expansion Packs work but not the Stuff packs.

Ps.. does anyone have the same red walls flashing issue? If so how did you fix it cause I really don't want to update a 3 year old computer just to play a game and with my luck the computer will go out on me lol.

Today is the day! Did anyone get theirs in yet? We opted to just to to best buy today to pick ours up instead of pre-ordering. I'm anxious to hear everyones opinions! I'll be heading out in about 2 hours to pick up my copy! I can't wait!!!!!

i agree, i loved the pets pak for the original one too and i'm glad they did one for Sims 2!

i'm just waiting for a Makin' Magic pak for this one too! that was my favorite one.

I will never, ever, EVER pre-order from CompUSA again!!

Checked on my order and it says "shipping soon." Come on, it came out Wednesday, it should have been shipped THAT DAY, or at the very least the NEXT DAY!!

I WANT IT, and I WANT IT NOW!!!!

Should have just gotten it in town THE DAY IT CAME OUT!!

I am SO MAD!

What is the point of pre-ordering if they're not going to ship it the day it comes out?!

Hmmmm!! I need to figure this out myself. I bought a collar and didn't even think about it. I need to check if it's on my dog. It took me 2 hours last night to figure out where the pet store was. Finally realized I just place them on a lot. Duh.

One of the kids took the dog for a walk last night and they both came home safely, he didn't run away. At least, not yet.

I can't believe you haven't gotten your pre-order yet. That is so frustrating. I probably would have caved and bought it anyway and returned the one being sent to you (if they allow returns)

I have it took me awhile to figure out how to do it.
You know how you can change an appearance in the mirror for an adult or toddler. That's the way you pu the collar on the dog/cat. Although I had to use one of the longer mirrors or one that wasn't over a sink just flat on the wall. HTH. Have fun. I love this game.
