metro - i too hope they tame that bad boy down a notch so my neck can take it via a "dumbed down" version/car, not stationary just not so vigrous.

I swear I got a concussion on that thing the last time I rode it.....hoping for a wild ride, yet a SMOOTHER ride

A friend of mine went to the test or soft opening of BTTF before they tuned it down to the bone jarring mess it was at the end. He is still sick and blames it for a stroke he had recently.

That's terrible, I feel so sorry for him.

I rode that "bone jarring mess" (great description) once and that was enough for me.

I have to say, I rode Mission Space right after it opened. After I got off the ride I felt very weird - kind of woozy, kind of sick to my stomach - just strange. Ever since then I get motion sickness very easily. Things that never used to make me motion sick now do like reading in a moving car, take offs and landings on airplanes - things that never made me sick before. I swear it was that ride that "triggered" something.

I rode that "bone jarring mess" (great description) once and that was enough for me.

I stopped riding BTTF a few years ago because the headaches I experienced afterward. I'm glad it's gone!

Apparently there's a grand opening on May 15th.

WHOO HOO ... we fly back home on the 16th so hopefully we can get a chance to ride on the 15th ... or earlier if they have AP previews (crossing fingers and toes)

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

With soft openings wayyyy before the official opening date (as usual) and an APH preview likely before the soft openings I'll be counting on riding this bad boy next weekend.

The grand opening is the OFFICIAL opening. They'll definitely start previewing it before then. You should be in good shape.

Monday = hopefully new news as to when there will be any kind of preview. I'm still waiting for an employee preview, but am not holding my breath for it.

We will be there April 23-27th, I am hoping to ride it then.

We were lucky enough to ride ROTM before it opened (soft opening) some of the special effects were not operating yet (the fire room and the bugs) but it was very cool. It was even more fun to return at a later date and see it fully operational. Hope we get lucky again!
