Did a bit of packing ready for tomorrow. Asked the boys what they wanted to do, their choice was Typhoon Lagoon. I wanted to go to Hollywood Studios so we agreed TL for the day and HS tonight. We hadn't managed to get on Rock & Roller and I knew that by the evening the queues would be horrendous again. I knew they wouldn't enjoy it if we did things the other way around and I suppose they had done everything I'd asked of them over the course of the holidays so I kept quiet and tried to hide my disappointment.
Stayed at TL till 1pm and made our way back to the resort waiting forever for a bus again. I'd had tucked the room keys away carefully in a safe place and had a mad moment thinking I had lost them. Went down to reception to request a replacement for mine and Ashley's (John and Glen had kept theirs on them) and asked for a printout of the bill so far. Went back to the room to double check everything, all was OK except we had been charged $9.95 for internet connection. We hadn't used it so went back to reception to query it and it was promptly credit to our account, no questions asked. Spent some time in our room resting before going to Capt Cooks for a pineapple dole whip and sat by the pool eating it. Caught the bus to HS, went on some of the rides (but not R&R), feeling peckish by 8pm so as we were passing Backlot Express called in, we were literally the last people to be served so the place was deserted, only about 3 other families in there. We got our drinks and then the soda machines were turned off, I got the impression it was unlimited drinks but we only had the 1! Pity really, we were quite thirsty and could have enjoyed more than 1 drink each. Even the water had been turned off. Felt a bit rushed to get out of the place, I was already feeling sorry for myself having to go back to normality tomorrow, this didn't help my mood!
Back at the resort we had a quick dip in the pool, bed by 11pm.
Just noticed the boys wore the same t shirts in the water at TL and again in the evening!!!!! Good job they had plenty of showers.
