Simple vow renewal

When I was surfing around yesterday I found a disney wedding site ( not the Disney fairytale site). It appeared to be a disney site with all the information about wedding including the memories package. It gave quite a bit of information including a description of the in room package, floral upgrades etc.
It also mentioned you could upgrade your photo package. I hope it means they will let you do the cd. I will ask when I call to book.
That would be great because I did a photo session with my family a few years ago and it was great to "own" your pictures and a lot less expensive to print.
Of course, I can't find the web site to pass along but if I do find it I will post the information.

When we had our event the photo upgrades were additional hours of photography, additional photoshoots (park or resort) and select photo products (print packages, albums, photobooks, announcements etc.). My contact at DPS said no to the CD - she even checked with her manager and they said no too. If anyone gets a different answer let me know!:goodvibes

That's probably what they meant. When I book my "event" in April I will check and let you know.

I will be booking the memory package on Monday, to answer your question concerning the in room romance package instead of 3 hours of limo...

From the moment you step into your Walt Disney World® Resort room, you step into a world of romance, experiencing all the magic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have arranged just for you! They heard congratulations were in order, so they turned back the bed and sprinkled rose petals on the sheets and chocolates on your pillows. Cozy bath towels, specially embroidered with your names, are draped across the foot of the bed and a spa basket for two sits waiting for you. On the table nearby, a splash of Mickey-shaped confetti, a dozen pixie-dusted roses, and a custom-matted photo of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse stands to congratulate you. Then, for the final touch, three magically lit candles are scattered about to set the mood for romance - and, if you look closely, you’ll find Tinker Bell spreading a little magic too! All of this is not only meant for you to enjoy - now every piece has been selected for you to take home - with love.
8. Will there be chairs set up for the ceremony?
The Memories Collection is designed as a standing only ceremony. Chairs will not be set up

I will be interested to hear how things go on Monday.
I assume you are booking for a August date?

First a great big CONGRATULATIONS to all who are planning their vow renewal ceremonies. We are kicking around trying to do something in October for our 15th anniversary trip. My husband said we could certainly look into the package, however we are leaving on our actual anniversary :sad1: and I would love to have our renewal ceremony on our actual wedding date. Plus I am having the guilt of not having our son part of it as he will be home with my mom. He is 11 and has not been taking the news to well (we have been telling him for well over a year) that this is a mom and dad trip only.

Are you able to book the in room celebration by itself? Perhaps we can just get all dressed up and go out to a nice dinner and arrange for that. We went to Victoria & Alberts on our honeymoon, so maybe we could do that.

I hope everyone has a great time planning and will share any pictures that you can!! :goodvibes

The Walt Disney World Florist can put together pretty much any kind of in-room celebration you can imagine. You can check out the offerings at

http://www.disneyflorist.com/

or you can call them up and work with them on something customized. :thumbsup2

Disney will do anything you want as along as you are willing to pay for it... so I say go for it!!!
I know it will be hard for you to leave your son home with mom but its important for you and your husband to have some time to yourselves, don't feel guilty. We have been fortunate to celebrate a few anniversaries in Disney with a "dress up" night and dinner at our favorite restaurants...make your reservations and enjoy.
We had our honeymoon at Disney 35 years ago and I look forward to a Memories Vow renewal. Will post as things progress.
Its amazing how excited I get over something that is still so far away and will only be for a few hours but we need these events in our lives to look forward to. As I have said before...... only disboarders can appreciate this!!!

Congratulations on all the Vow Renewals as well. My hubby and I are planning a Disney Cruise/WDW Vacation for our 25th Anniversary in October of 2012. We would like to renew our vows in a Sunup Ceremony. I have not checked into Disney Prices, but have looked off site at Cocoa Beach. I may have to check out the Disney Vow Renewals Package as well.;)

Great thread!

We want to renew our vows sometime in the next year or so. We don't have big plans, but I am tossing around something for just the two of us and something, still small, including our daughter and parents. I feel like our daughter should be there. She's 6, and we are 36 and have been married 11.5 years. No special anniversary, just a host of tough times and want to acknowledge our commitment.

I know a lot of you ladies are great planners and love reading about your plans!
