Great review of Tutto - is it weird that, even though it's a kids appetiser, I think those mozzarella sticks sound great

Nice review of Tutto. I've considered making ADRs there for the hubby and me before, but I can't get past their prices which strike me as utterly absurd, even by WDW standards.
The last time I checked a Caesar Salad was priced at $16 and spaghetti & meatballs was around $24.![]()
As much as we like to splurge on vacation I'm not sure we can make the leap on this one. I know you were on the DxDP, but do you think you'd hit this place up if you were paying out of pocket?
Thanks!![]()
Thank you so much for the review. I cannot wait to try it in 8 weeks!!!![]()
great review of Tutto Italia! You nearly convinced me to want to try it - but besides the high prices, I rather want to eat American when I am in the USA, not Italian which I can get at home as well.![]()
lot of great reviews there.xx yum yum![]()
Great reviews- thanks!
I'm glad you enjoyed Tutto. We ate there in Nov. and thought it was ok. Maybe we'll have to give it another try sometime!
Tutto Italia was one of my most favorite meals of our entire trip. Everything about it was awesome! I am so excited to eat there again on our next trip! I do agree the prices are crazy. One more reason I love the dining plan!![]()
Noooo!!!Here, I thought I'd narrowed down my potential restaurant choices and Tutto was NOT included in the final list... after this review, I think I have to add it back in! This alone gets my attention...
Oh my heck, but I love eggplant done right! I'm half Italian and get very picky about so-called "Italian" restaurants - it looks and sounds like Tutto got it all right!

Tutto looks amazing, I will have to save it for a future trip.

I can't believe I'm just getting to this review. This is such a great review. Especially V&A, CG & Tutto. I hadn't planned on V&A, but my DW and I are eating at the other two in October. We may just have to add V&A to the list.
Brenda, you are so right...it is very expensive...I confess, we did not pay much attention to menu prices because we were indeed on deluxe dining. However, I just looked again and you are correct--how crazy is is that their caeser salad is $16?!Looks like main dishes are less expensive at lunch so I would perhaps try lunch?
After reading your recent fantastic review of BlueZoo, I think I would choose that for a dinner over Tutto!Tutto is ultimately simple fare, but very well done.

As for your question, yes, I do think we would eat there even if not on the plan. HOWEVER, we would absolutely share starters and desserts in that case, both because of the cost and because the portion sizes truly were huge.
We have some amazing Northern Italian restaurants in our city, very authentic simple to more upscale, and several of us in the group have been to Italy multiple times, maybe that can give you an idea of our opinion. As a family, we love Italian food. Have you eaten at Lidia's in Kansas City? I have no idea where exactly your city is in Missouri... We eat there each year as a stopping point on a road trip to visit family, and our experience at Tutto (in terms of pasta, overall quality, freshness, taste, service) was that Tutto is at least as good. Lidia's wins out in a few ways, Tutto wins over Lidia's in a few. There are certainly some Italian-American dishes at Tutto, but that's not a bad thing...This won't be helpful if you have not eaten at Lidia's I guess!Hope that answered your question.
Thanks for reading...![]()

Overall Rating: 3
The experience itself could rate a 4 or 5, but the food was really quite mediocre to bad, bringing the overall rating down.
Our 8:05 ADR felt quite early in the am after a late meal and travel day, but in hindsight, it was also a great way to begin our first full day at the parks. We hoped on the bus to MK around 7:25-30 am and arrived at the park around 7:45. We were let right in and proceeded up to the castle. It was coldvery cold. DD had on a beautiful Cinderella dress that my stepmother made her, but was all bundled up over it. DSis and her DH joined us for this meal!![]()
We were one of the first groups of the day and did not really wait at all. Cinderella was not even in place yet, she arrived shortly however. After parking our stroller we were called in to the castle vestibule hall and were perhaps the third group in line. This meant quickly unbundling DD, getting out the camera, etc Cinderella was charming, sweet, perfect! I have to admit, for those who have not visited before, this was pretty magical for the adults as well. Something about seeing Cinderella for the first time, and watching her interact with my own child, well, it was invaluable and a great way to begin the first day at Magic Kingdom.![]()
Two little girls were the Princesses of the Day as the first family in line. They were announced and were first to ascend the stairs. We shortly followed and were seated at a fantastic table you know the one people say is the best table? Right in the middle of the windows overlooking Fantasyland? We were in the larger table directly behind it. It was lovelya very festive and fun medieval/Renaissance inspired space. The little girls were swooning.
Our table was decorated with confetti because I was celebrating a birthday. I discovered here that only some of the restaurants will allow adults bottled water on the planI was not allowed it here. I often drink tap water at home, but we found the water at WDW to be a bit swampy. The orange juice was kinda yucky I mean, just standard high acid juice, definitely from concentrate. Our server was enthusiastic, efficient, and quick.
OHalso, we remembered a really terrific piece of advice I read on another TR about early morning character breakfasts at this point: ask for the check when you sit down! So smart in fact, our server commented how smart and told us she was first in line for checks and there were already several servers in line behind her (this was at 8:15, only ten minutes after the first round were seated). She never rushed us, but this gave us the control over when we wanted to leave. And, boy did it get hectic in there quickly For the first 20 minutes it was pretty quiet and very pleasant.

Children received a plate with scrambled eggs, two French toast sticks, syrup, and then could partake from the fruit and pastries as well. DD also was given a wishing star and a magic wand (that she carried around the entire week).
First to arrive were the two pedestal bowls of fresh fruit (with five people in our party we received two each of the fruit and pastries). The fruit was excellentprobably the best part of the mealripe and yummy, great mango.
The baskets of pastries included two cinnamon buns, two or three muffins each (blueberry and banana I think ) biscotti, and croissant. These were okay they were a bit dry. I think the muffins were the winners. I had one bite of a cinnamon bun and no more.

We then quickly received our main meals. DH and DSis and her DH all got the traditional plated meal (and could have ordered more if they liked). Honestly, this food was not so hotactually not very good and not very hot temp. wise! I tasted one bite of DHs French toast and it was terrible. He barely ate his meal. I think DSis and her DH felt similarly
![]()
Mine, however, was quite good. It was a huge and nicely presented bowl of low-fat strawberry yogurt over a raisin granola, topped with fresh fruit. Hard to mess up really, but it was good.

DDs meal was marginal too. Her eggs seemed fine, she ate some, along with one French toast stick. The French toast was completely dried outI mean it clearly had sat under a hot plate for some time which is silly considering we were one of the first tables of the day.

I was brought a little iced birthday cake as well, with Mickey sprinkles and a candle. Yes, they even sang happy birthday it was a good little cake! I had a bite, and DD and others had a few.
The upshot is this: the food really wasnt goodat all. Yet, we still all loved the experience and felt it was worth the money/credits! As we ate the princesses began to walk around the room and it was enchanting in that setting. Aurora and Jasmine came first, and they were somewhat abrupt and not terribly engaging with DD (I was disappointed), but then Snow White and Belle came by and they could not have been more sweet or engaging! Snow White chatted with us and stayed around for several photos, Belle was equally wonderful and attentive to DD (these last two actually got down on her level as well). Belle also left by asking DD if she could give her a hugit was darling when DD threw her arms around her! That was worth the breakfast alone![]()
Shortly after we met the princesses we left. I am not sure when the wishing ceremony took place, but we were all eager to head down for rope drop (we walked out at about 8:50). When we were leaving bedlam was beginning to set in downstairs early ADR= good idea.
We all decided that this was a wonderful experience and well worth the effort in securing the ADR (yes, I got up at the crack of dawn 180 days prior). We also decided that we will probably not revisit on the next trip, but certainly sometime again.
Too bad your experience at CRT was so different than ours! Strange because we were there at the exact same time!![]()
We absolutely adored the food at CRT! In fact my husband loved the eggs so much he requested the recipe from the chef!![]()
It was a great way to start the day though twasn't it? We were so happy to be able to hit fantasylamd at RD and be on Dumbo without a wait!
You are doing a great job with this review! Keep up the good work!![]()
to see you continuing your reviews!!
We will be at WL in just a few more days!! I am so pleased to see the good reviews of the in-room dining. We are also doing the deluxe dining plan, have dinner ressies at several signature places, but with your reviews of the inroom service I am ready to alter our plans if eating in the room just sounds better that evening. It is vacation after all.![]()
Oh, I am so happy that you came back to finish your reviews! Room service sounds wonderful, I guess I need to try that some time in the future.![]()
glad to have you back!![]()
Great reviews. Glad you didn't finish too early or I would have missed it. Thanks for posting.
What great reviews - and I love it that you have a sophisticated 3 year old with you - my DB, DSIL, and DN are going at the end of the month, and the little princess (2.5) has quite the palate as well - it has been amazing to send your reviews to my SIL - we are both very grateful for them!
Any chance Akershus will be up soon? I can't wait to read your view on that meal, as they are doing dinner there the last night.
Thanks for your wonderful writing~!
Great reviews...I've loved reading through this thread and looking ath the pictures!
The pizza in the photo looks so much better than the pizza I ordered at All Star Movies several years ago. I vowed to never order it again because it tasted so bad. I wonder if the pizza has improved since then!
