I know this sounds simple but what does it mean when people refer to "dedicated" or "lock off" rooms?

New and can't seem to find it explained. I think I have it but I know that someone on here knows in detail.

TIA

For a 2 bedroom, a dedicated can only be a 2 bedroom, there are 2 queens in the second bedroom (except some BCV rooms). There is one entrance to the room. A lockoff 2 bedroom is a 1 bedroom and studio with the connecting door open. For all resorts except OKW, the studio portion has a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. The studio portion will have a kitchenette and a separate entrance.

Some resorts also have dedicated studios & 1 bedrooms, which means there is no connecting door to make it a 2 bedroom.
