We've already booked our return flight as a one way (it was a great price)
The price on the departing flight we want (no stopovers) is a bit high, but may come down. There's another departing flight (with 1 stopover) which is a good price right now and we may book it.
If we book the 1 stopover departing flight, and the no stopover flight (that we really want) comes down in price enough... but that price is still higher than the flight we booked.... do I just call SW and do a "swap" and pay the extra difference?
And specifically how do they do that? Do they cancel the 1st rez and I just give my CC# to pay the difference? Or do they do a total refund for the cancelled flight and then take a new full CC payment for the new flight?
