when he told Carrie Underwood that she would sell more CDs than any other AI contestant, ever. Now, truth be told, I enjoy everything about her... she is gorgeous, sings amazingly, and, at least from what I have heard, she is a really nice person....

So why did I bring this up now?

Well, now, just for the first time ever, I heard her singing "Home Sweet Home"... the Motley Crue song... I always loved that song, and it totally surprised me that Carrie would not only sing it, but do a darn fine job.

No idea. I didn't watch much last season as I thought that there wasn't anybody who interested me.

I love that song. This is the first time I've heard Carrie sing it, though. I wish I could say I was surprised she did it well, but really, I'm not - I don't think I've heard her do a song that she didn't just nail.

yep it was played during the AI season....she is a great singer.

I'll have to listen to this tomorrow when I'm actually awake. Motley Crue was never my favorite band but i have to say i about lived for this song when they released it. Could never get enough of it. I like Carrie, so I'll have to see what she does with it when I'm coherent.

I didn't know the song was done by Motley Crue or that it was the boot off song on AI, but the first time I heard it it felt like it was sent as a gift for me. I was driving to the hospital as my mom was nearing the end of her fight with cancer, and I gotta tell you, it was tough to drive with the tears in my eyes as I listened to the words. Home sweet home, indeed. Even though it made me cry, it comforted me.

Yes the song was played all last season on AI. She does a decent version of it. I really like C. U. so its hard to pick on her even though I love the Motley version so much.
