Simba's Cubhouse or the Cub's Den?

Hi! I've also posted under "Disney for Families," but was wondering if anyone had any experience with Simba's Cubhouse at the AKL or the Cub's Den at the WL (Child Care clubs at those resorts)? I have two daughters, age 4 and 7, and would like to hear of any good or bad experiences.

My DD6 has stayed 3 times at Cubs Den and 1 time at Simba's...just because that is how many times we have stayed at WL and AKL. We ALWAYS have one night on our trip that is just "mommy and daddy" time to have drinks and dinner at the resort. She loves them both and looks foward to going.

Since she is sitting right here and coloring, I asked her..."Honey...which do you like better...Simba's or Cub's?"

I could tell she was honored that I was asking her opinion for the Disboards. She came over and tried to talk like a grown up.

"Ummm, I like Cub's Den better cuz their food is a little bit better and I like their games better!"

So there ya go!

P.S....I keep hearing that the Neverland Club is really wonderful. I am almost afraid to take her there cuz I am afraid she will get spoiled and insist on going to that one!

My kids (now 6 &10) have been to Simba's Cubhouse once and The Neverland Club (at the Polynesian) many times. My DD6 LOVED SC and keeps asking when we are going to go back to the AKL so she can go there. The kids liked the fact that they could see the animals out the window of the club.

But The Neverland Club is the one they like the best. All the arts & crafts, video games and buffett dinner - DS10 is a very picky eater and likes that they have pizza.

I don't think you can go wrong at ANY of Disney's kid clubs as they really know how to entertain the kids. DH & I also do one night a vacation as a "date night" and the kids are used to going. When we stayed at the AKL we went to Boma's, and when we are at The Polynesian we like to go to the Kona Cafe.

Thank you so much for the pictures. I've been looking everywhere for good pictures to show my DS's. We'll be at AKL next week and they've been asking me what Simba's will be like. I loved to see the activity schedule and menu to give me an idea of what might be offered when we're there. Thank you, Thank you!

I second the thanks for the pictures and feedback. I've made reservations for Simba's Cubhouse (we're staying at the AKL), and my daughter and I enjoyed the pictures!

I've booked the kids for SC so I can surprise dh with an adult only dinner at Jiko!
I'm sure the kids will much rather playing there than eating a nice relaxing dinner with us.
