Anyone been to any of these?

On the verge of making our booking and deciding on meals at the moment. DH enjoys a good steak (must be well done....) and I've always fancied having a meal in Frontierland as it's one of our favourite lands.

So, is one any better than the other?

I did a lot of research into the Silver Spur Steakhouse and those I asked told me it wasn't very nice, it isn't ranked very highly by many websites either. It's a shame because Frontierland is my favourite land and I was dying to eat there!

However I have been to the Steakhouse twice and it was lovely each time (although more on the expensive side!) and I enjoyed the atmosphere quite a lot, so I would recommend it. I think on our next trip we will take a gamble for the Silver Spur just to double check!

Thanks :thumbsup2 I seem to remember some iffy reviews of Silver Spur but was hoping that they'd got better.

I have had nice meals in both, but my visit to Silver Spur around 18 months ago was one of the best meals my family has ever eaten. Only downside was portion size was not very big, but I'd rather have the quality than the quantity. Nice atmosphere and brilliant server too!

We had a special family meal at the Chicago Steakbouse in 2010, probably the worse meal we've had at dlp. The steaks were appalling, fatty and full of gristle, with drinks it cost £230, i know i should've complained, but it was we thought our last family meal at dlp ! Haha

I wouldn't risk going back there but am planning to eat at the Silver Spur in July, love the novelty of having our evening meal in the park :)

Btw had eaten at the Steakhouse before our disasterous visit and had a very nice meal the first time :)

Hi, I'm sure I just said this somewhere else but I love the steakhouse and my youngest son loves the Silver Spur.....he really likes the atmosphere! We had a great [although in my son's eyes] boring meal at the steakhouse, the food was good and the service and wines lovely :goodvibes.
However as a teenager he loves Silver Spur!!! When we went it was very ively and the menu was no nonsense steak, chips, ice cream etc. he liked the open kitchen and the staff were very friendly :thumbsup2

After dining at Blue Lagoon last year we were thinking of the Silver Spur next month also.
