Yes, we went Feb 2008. Nothing like a Disney or Busch Park. Not so commercialisd. Very quiet and laid back. Beautiful setting and surroundings. Glass bottomed Boat trip to view the springs which was really relaxing and interesting. Jeep safari which was quite good. If you are an animal lover like me I found it quite sad that they had so much space and yet the animals were in relatively small pens; they could have made so much more of it. Also lots and lots of alligators of all sizes, also in pens! For me, the whole experience with the beautiful surroundings would have been enough, but that's just my opinion. If you do go, look out for money-off coupons in the booklets as I think you can get some good reductions. We paid what I thought was quite a lot at the gate, from what I can remember $35 each or similar, but we had driven all the way there so we paid the price!.
Hope this helps.

we have been as well, its a lovely relaxing day out, there as said are glass bottom boats and you can do 3 different tours of the river, the water is so clear and you can see things like an old indian canoe, monuments from a film made there. they also have a sort of jeep ride where you go on a trail and see all sorts of animals and the tree that tarzan(Johnny Weissmuller) stood in. alot of films have been filmed here. there is a small petting farm, brown bears, and loads of alligators etc
sometimes its cheaper to get your tickets from the website, when we went they had a deal on where you took a can of coke and got a discounted ticket.

We last went there in 2004, if it's the thrills of Disney that you are looking for then you will not like Silver SPrings! To be honest we were a little dissapointed in it, mainly because the shows were a bit of a let down, we went to see the bird show and the high light of it was 3 mallards running along and them being chased by a chicken. I could see that at my local park for free! Anywho..... the scenery is lovely and the glass bottom boats a nice cooling rest from the heat, they do tell you some interesting info about the films and stuff that have been filmed there too. oh also there is a good fudge shop there!

I have been to the car park once for 4 hours :headache: we had just pulled into the entrance when the cars steering went. DW and DS went in whilst I waited for dollar to bring another car. They thought it was a nice change of pace, did the glass bottomed boat and everything.

By the time the replacement car came it was nearly time for the park to close so they let me in for free. I only got to grab a bite to eat and a quick walk through a wood before it was time to go.

I think it is the oldest attraction in Florida,
