Mine and my wife's cards showed up today in the large silver envelope. Lots of marketing extras but it looked good.
New ID cards for both my wife and I were in there.Got this envelope in the mail yet. No idea what's in it, promised the wife I wouldn't open it without her. Says "Very Important Magic enclosed" and has the 25th anniversary logo on the back.
Glad to hear lots of members are FINALLY getting their 25th Anniversary member cards. I got mine close to a month ago. I don't know who they hired to send these things or what system is being used, but YUK.
*****And fellow members make SURE to have your NEW card on you when you come to WDW**** They are checking and if members do not have either the new 25th Anniversary ID or the Digital download (www.disneyvacationclub.com/newcard), either printed out or a screenshot, you are NOT going to get the DVC discounts. I've been on property a couple of times since the deadline for using old cards and talked to a couple of different members that did not have online accounts and were having a heck of a time trying to connect with MS to create an account and THEN get the digital download for their I.D. Again, YUK….
Really the older cards are no longer valid? Why do I find this hard to believe especially if they are only sending one card to a family and not to every person who has ownership.
We haven't gotten any new card or cards up here.
I was wondering why I only received the cards not my husband (I am the primary). So will my husband eventually get sent a card or do we have to get one when down there? Not likely, the database that they used just had your name as primary. Seems like another over blown expense for members and now we have to wait for the rest or the cards either to be mailed or we might have to pick them up at WDW. As long as the old cards are accepted, that is what we will use.
