Midnight, by definition, is the start of the day. I totally get what you were trying to convey here, so this is more of a general PSA than a response to you. This comes up often and I'm honestly genuinely surprised at the number of people who don't seem to know midnight is technically morning (start of the day).

The 24-hour-clock shows this very well as midnight is 00:00. Not 24:00.
