I have used to silver add on in the past but do not remember the details.

What is included in dinner? Appetizer, entree, and dessert. Is a salad included, what about drinks? I know alcohol is not.

Any help, would be appreciated!

We booked the Silver Plan this year.

I believe it's appetizer, soup/salad, entree, dessert, and non-alchololic beverage, coffee or tea.....

Sounds like a lot to me, we are going to try splitting them for lunches.

You can use a soup or salad for an appetizer, but it's not a seperate item. In total, it's a three course meal.

We didn't ever use our wishes to get meals, but was told that it included an appetizer (whether ti be a salad or some other appetizer), an entree, a dessert, and a non-alcoholic drink.

can you do this on the silver plan?? We are a family of 5 with kids 8, 6, 5. I would like to order 3 or 4 meals (app, entree, dessert) and let the kids split with each other than uses wishes for kids meals. Do they allow you to do this?? Should I expect an extra plate charge??? Thank you!

KC&Dmom: If you purchase the silver plan you must purchase it for everyone in your party.

If you are talking about ordering 3 or 4 meals and having the kids split one or two, I guess that is up to you.

For example, If my DH and I went to Narcoosees for dinner, DH could use his 2 wishes for dinner and we could pay for mine and I could use my 2 wishes later at the spa!!

Does that make sense? I hope so. To clarify my situation, if I go to Fultons for dinner and order an appetizer, can I also order a caesar salad before dinner and then the entree and dessert?

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

Depending on the restaurant you may be able to get away with two full meals that include appetizers. Then you can order side dishes to fill any gaps in the meals. Do not use wishes on kids meals or counter service!

We've never been able to clean our plates at any of the WDW restaurants we've been to in the past. Throwing in a couple of appetizers just makes it seem impossible. In the past we only did one sit down a day. On the silver we'll be doing two. Even with two teenaged daughters I'm sure splitting will still give us enough food.

We plan on parasailing and spa treatments on our last day with all the left over wishes.

My parents did this last year with the Silver Plan......she took my ds and dd with them.

Four of them, kids would split a meal, the waiter ALWAYS happy to oblige, would split a burger in the kitchen to 2 separate plates, and they would actually get double the fries cuz the kitchen would load BOTH plates with the extras......

Yes, they would have had enough wishes to each have their own, but they used them for other things, like mouse boats and stuff.....

There was never a plate sharing charge according to my mom, and this seemed to be common practice, as the wait staff knew exactly what they wanted....

Oh, and she also said, they got appetizer AND soup/salad, cuz my son would have the app and my daughter the salad.....

Thank you so much for all the great info.

That was a really good question Tinkerbelle739!!

On the two previous times we have been on the silver plan, we either ordered an appetizer OR a salad. In other words, a salad in place of an appetizer, but never both.

But, always tell your server ahead of time that you are on the silver plan.I have found that at some restaurants the server would get all enthusiastic and say 'Oh well you get everything then!", and at other restaurants the server would be un-surprised.

We are on the silver plan again for our Sept. trip. I am having a ball planning all of our meals.
We are going to splurge one night and eat at Fultons for 2 wishes each as well. I was a littl hesitant to do that with my 10yr old DS, but we do have to pay the adult wish for him, so I figure why not??
He has already looked at the menu and picked out the 43.00 Lobster :earboy2:

But hey, we never get to eat like that at home........so the kids think its cool to be able to order whatever they want at Disney!!

Tinkerbelle739,
I forgot to say..........

The exact description of what is included in a silver plan lunch & dinner as listed in the silver plan wish guide is :

(1) Appetizer
(1)Entree
(1)Dessert
(1)Soda, juice,milk,smoothie,milkshake,reg.coffee,or tea

OR

(1)Full Buffet

THANKS!!! I have not received my guide yet. This is a last minute trip and I have to make all of my PSs now, but I still dont have any info.

We did the silver plan in 2000 and all I remember is that it was ALOT of food and worth the price of the package!

There is no diffeence between adult wishes and kids wishes. Don't use a wish for a kids meal, pay cash. Save your wishes for other things, dinner shows, golf, Cirque(2).

There is a slight difference.
If your child is age 9 or under, they MUST order off of the children's menu if available.
There are a few Disney restaurants who do not inforce this, thats why I said always tell your server your on the plan ahead of time.

What I was talking about is that my child is 10, and therefore has to pay the adult silver plan price of 64.00 per night.
Most of the WDW restaurants offer childrens menus for children age 11 and under. SO, if it is a buffet restaurant, we will be paying cash for his meals(and saving a wish) because his age puts him within the children's price guidelines.
But for our trip to Fultons, he will be ordering off the adult menu, but will be using his 2 wishes to do so. Just like an adult would.
See what I mean?

Chris

I love lobster tails so what we did at Fulton's with the the Silver Plan was my mother and I ordered the surf & turf($70.90 each). I took her lobster tails. One filet minon (sp?) was enough for her so I gave my filet to my DS11 & DH to split (they also had their own meals).
Your DS does NOT have to eat from the kids menu even though he falls into the kids menu age range. Because you are paying the adult (or so called Jr. price) he gets to choose from the adults menu in ALL restaurants.

Right Karen ::yes::

Thats why I told him to choose whatever he wants off the Fulton's menu.Because it is 2 wishes, I want to be sure he orders his "wish" worth, kwim?

I'm just thinking that at the buffet restaurants, like Chef Mickey's or Cyrstal Palace, kids under age 12 have a kids price of 9.99 or so.
It would be stupid to use a adult(Jr) wish valued at 34.00 for that meal for him.

That Surf and Turf sounds yummy!!! I need to go look at my Fulton's menu again ;-)
I have an entire folder full of menus and other meal plans. NOPE, I'm not a fanatical planner at all :rolleyes1

I'm not sure (it's been almost a year), but I don't think the surf & turf is on the menu. It was suggested by our server. If your server doesn't suggest it, just ask. The more you order using the Silver Plan, the more their tip is going to be ::yes:: so they are more than happy to accomodate you.
