We have a Club Level room reserved. What is the minimum age that children can go to the Concierge room without parents? :cool2:

I am not sure. We have done Club Level, but our kids were always with us when we went to the Lounge. I would probably say that I wouldn't let my kids go if they were under 11-12 years old.

OP, I don't think you said where you're staying. Keep in mind that some "Club Level" rooms get club level privileges but are on a different floor from the lounge.

Depending on the age of your kids, it might make a difference to you if the lounge is two doors down from your room, or on an entirely different floor.

you 'll typically see young teens (14ish) by themselves.
they usually get food/water and go back to their room.

i would think most parents would not send young children to the lounge by themselves.
at the breakfast and evening offerings, a sign is out stating that the parents should help their children at the buffet. last time i noticed that sign it said if they are 12 and under.

if the age on the sign has changed, i'm not aware of it.
things change constantly, could be now there isn't a sign.....
(last year at club lounge, i saw very few kids there.)

most parents are concerned and protective on watching out for their kids while on vacation.

in all the times i have stayed at club, i haven't run across any incidents of young children (under 13ish) at the lounge by themselves.

doesn't mean it hasn't happened, just haven't seen it when i have been there.

Thanks guys. My son will be 11 and his friend that we are taking with us will be 13. I was just thinking more along the lines of retrieving a coke or a glass of milk before bed....not a big meal or anything like that.

And we would be standing at our room door...watching down the hall. (yeah...I'm one of THOSE parents that has to keep my eye on my child). lol

We'll be at the HRH.

Thanks for answering my question. Ya'll are the best!

i think that would be fine.

there should be more parents like you!
you want to let your son feel responsible and do something new with an older friend and you still keep your eye out for them.

he'll feel good about himself doing something kind of on his own.

about the miik, i didn't see that in the lounge but i was looking at the adult beverages.........

at hrh club lounge, the only hall way that you can see directly going down to the lounge, are the hall ways by the elevators.

Thanks guys.

When we stayed at RP, we were on the club level, and they had milk.

The lounge isn't on the same floor as the club level rooms at HRH??????

if you book club, you will be on floor 7 at hrh.
that is not an issue.

there are some times that people can pay the difference and use the club lounge amenities and services, but not stay on the 7th floor.

some guests might only want a deluxe room.
if none are available on the 7th floor, they could stay on another floor and still buy into club.

so.... you can have club guests that do not have their room on the top floor.

at pbh, their club lounge is on the 3rd floor.
club availability rooms are located on other floors also.
