Silly question... is the furniture bolted down at the moderates?

We were thinking about saving the $30 for the king room and pushing the beds together to have lots of room (hubby2b is a restless sleeper... oh, and it's a honeymoon ;)) but I don't know if that's even possible.... anybody... Bueller? LOL

no idea.... but, I have a question for ya..

what is the code to put a countdown in your profile on here.. I tried the clatterbone code, but it didn't work on here...

thanks!

Amber - go here to get the link... once you have the code you have to do a test post in the technical thread.

We did that a couple of years ago at the All Star Movies. The kids were little so we pushed the beds together and my husband and I slept on each edge and the kids were in the Middle, that way they didn't fall off the bed.

Terry, all the Disney resorts offer free bedrails for the kids beds. We have used them a lot! Housekeeping will bring them to your room. :D
I cannot remember about the moderate beds. I don't remember them moving any, but I did not try.

Hi there...

For a honeymoon I think I would splurge for the king bedded room... I mean how many honeymoons does a girl have? :p

Also what if hubby puts his back out pushing beds together?

Congratulations

>>^..^<<

I can't help you with the moderates, but I know the decorative items at OKW are glued down.

I'll just let imaginations run wild figuring out what I was doing when I discovered this..;)

LOL Peachgirl!

At any rate--the head boards are definitely bolted to the walls. The beds I want to think are on platforms as opposed to bedframes on wheels, but I could be mistaken.

So yes, in theory you could push them together, but they won't go easy.

It's also going to make it a LOT harder for the hsouekeeper to make the bed/change the sheets.

Thanks for all the quick replies everyone...

A king bed is preferable, but for 12 nights that's $360+tax extra.... that's a plane ticket right there!!!... and I'd rather not reduce the amount of days.

For two currently unemployed folk, that's $ I just can't justify spending for a bed :( :(

When we stayed at the Coronado Springs my daughter was just 10 months old and we didn't have a rail for her. We were pleasantly surprised that we could move the bed up against the wall so she wouldn't fall through the gap, although the headboard was bolted to the wall. The problem with pushing 2 double beds together to make a king is that there is a nightstand in between them, and I am not sure if it moves. And if ti does move, I am not too sure that the Disney folks would be too happy about this.

One more thing with pushing the beds together. There is a possibility that the mattresses can slide apart if you happen to fall asleep on the seam.
