Silly question-Chili's gift certificate

I got a gift certificate printed on an 8 x 11" computer paper

I probably wont use the whole thing first visit

Do I have to hang on to the flimsy paper-or will they issue me a card of some sort?

Where did you get the certificate from? If it was somewhere like resturants.com you probably need to use it all at once. Does the small print on the certificate say anything?

My boss gave it to me-he printed it on his computer
its a regular Chili's certificate-was thinking of using it for s few take out lunches

I have one right here in front of me and mine says to treat it as any other Brinker gift "card" and if there is a balance after purchase, the cashier is to give it back to you along with a receipt showing remaining balance.
Mine is called an eGift Card.
