Silly MYW question!?

So the old LOS or UPH are gone completely? These MYW tickets aren't really "the same". You can't configure them to match the versatility of a UPH. A 6 or 7 day MYW ticket with Hopping and the Plus package only gives you 5 plusses (or 4, I don't know). So you can't get 1 plus for every park day on your MYW ticket. A UPH allowed you to do MK in the morning, TL in the afternoon, Epcot for dinner, and then PI in the evening. That's 2 plusses with the new plan!

This is just silly that they replaced the old tickets this way. If they are going to make expiration and park hopping separate options, then they should make a separate plus package. If I want a 7 day ticket with hopping and NO plusses, I should be able to do that. If I want a 5 day ticket and 8 plusses, I should be able to do that.

Disney is never going to make all the people happy all the time. So, with that in mind, you have to realize that the majority of people never used a plus feature every day. There are very few people that went to a park, then hopped over to a water park for a few hours and then back to a park. If that is something that your family is really interested in doing, then you could always get the AP for just water parks (it is still available, isn't it?) and have that with your MYW passes. For the majority of people, the MYW passes really work well. There are more people that want longer stays with NO plus features than you would imagine.

You are absolutely right! Not everyone can be pleased all the time, this just isn't my day Actually, I have a PAP, but I am taking a friend with me to WDW this May and I was trying to figure out what ticket to recommend for her when I realized that the true flexibility of the UPH wasn't there. Before my PAP, I always got the UPH because I never knew what I was going to do when, and I knew all the bases were covered that way! I also am not that savy when it comes to price breakdowns and figuring the best deal (I'm getting better though ) so the UPH for me was the no-brainer ticket.

And I can understand that people wouldn't want any plus features (hey, wait a minute, you CAN do that with these things). I must be thinking with the emergency break on because I'm starting to smell smoke
