Silly but serious question...

WOW. I have never heard of moleskin. You use it for blisters? What is it? Mole skin?? I'm stupid, I know :lmao:

I wore crocs all week last August and my feet didn't hurt and no blisters. They were great and didn't make your feet hot either.
I've never heard of moleskin either, have no idea what its purpose is but I am now curious :-)

No, it's not actual mole skin. It's a sort of padded, felt like material with an adhesive back that you can put on any area where your shoes might rub and create a sore or blister. It sort of reduces the friction and saves your skin. (As others have mentioned, it can hurt to pull it off of a blister, but used as a prevention, it's wonderful.) It comes in "sheets" maybe 6" x 4" which you can cut to the size and shape you need for the area in question. You can usually find in the foot care section of a drug store.

I feel like a fool now! I always thought that you stuck the Mole Skin to your shoe where it was rubbing! I didn't realize you put the sticky stuff on yourself... oh well, now I know!

I'd link you if I could, but I forgot where I read it, but I just read a thread earlier today where people were saying the exact opposite: That it goes on your shoes and the people who thought you put it on your feet said they felt silly! I think it might have been a Disney for First Timers's Tip Thread or something. :rotfl:

See, I disagree with this. If you put the mole skin on the shoe your still creating friction on the foot in the area that's going to create the hot spot. It works much better to put it on the foot where you feel a hot spot starting to form or as a preventative to start the day with. Although I would have to say, when I use socks with the moiture wicking it worked so well I didn't feel I needed any mole skin the entire 8 days of being out and walking 1400 miles every day. I'm a Pooh sized girl and with all my weight and the walking if anyone was going to need something to prevent problems with my feet it would have been me, but I didn't once need anything. Praise God!:worship:
I had a great time, and an even better one knowing that I was doing so good with the socks that I had just bought. I will do this in the future when I go again. :yay:
