I'd like to order custom silicone bracelets, printed or embossed with our cell #'s for 2 kids, just in case we get separated at WDW.

If you have ordered them and are happy with the product, price, service, etc., would you please tell me where you ordered from?

There are lots of companies online, but I thought I'd ask the experts. ;)

:thanks:

You might be interested in this because you wouldn't have to worry about the bracelet falling off. http://www.safetytat.com/

Thank you for suggesting that. These kids are 11 and almost 8 though. I'm afraid they might think the I.D. tattoos are too baby-ish. You know how kids are sometimes!

I'm the aunt, but I will ask their parents to see what they say.

I found this place from the dis boards years ago.

The service was fast and we are still using them at least 4 years later.

We only lost 1 child once for less than a minute. She was too shy to tell the CM who were already with her when we returned about her wrist band. We told her if she got lost again she could show it to them but she didn't pull away from us after that.

Darn, this company no longer does the bracelets. Oh well, thanks anyway!

That's a shame - we've used them a few times in the past - I read their note, sounds like they just want to downsize. Overrun by too many DISers, TGMers, TPers, etc. maybe!

My kids are younger but I ordered some Tyvek wristbands (think the kind you get at festivals for riding rides, etc.) from Amazon and wrote my and DH's cell phone numbers on them under the words "If lost please call:". I like these because they couldn't be taken off easily. Both kids knew when we got to the bus stop in the morning they had to have a bracelet on their wrist or ankle to get on the bus. I bought bright yellow ones so they were easy to spot even if the kid was too upset to show a CM the bracelet.

We made dog tags for our kids, the ones in the parks. We put our cell phone numbers on those. We have one Nemo and one Star Wars. Very cute.

You might want to look into Road ID. They are a bit more expensive, but are really good quality and will hold up well in all kinds of weather and movement. They are meant for runners or bikers as a safety measure.

I used imprint.com for our kids wristbands. 6 wrist bands, 2 of each color, embossed with our cell numbers was about $12 + shipping.

Maybe this is too low-tech, but I've used silicone bracelets I've bought locally (you can find them at party stores in the gift bag doodad section, if you have any trouble finding them) and I put a phone number on the back side of the bracelet with a Sharpie. It doesn't come off as long as you use a permanent marker.

I also put the bracelet around my daughter's ankle instead of her wrist. She found it to be too big and bulky on her wrist, and I found she was much less likely to take the bracelet off if it was on her ankle than her wrist.

Even if you prefer pre-printed bracelets, hopefully this suggestion will be useful for anyone who finds they don't have time to complete their order before their trip.

A similar suggestion to others who just write on a plain silicone band--

We use the leather bracelets they sell at Disney (I have seen them at Epcot in Canada and at AK). My two DDs already had them and we bought one for DS last trip when we decided to use them for our phone numbers. They were less than $10 each.

The bracelets come in different colors and styles and are personalized with the child's name and a Disney character charm. I just used a permanent marker to write my cell phone number on the inside of the bracelet.

I ordered silicone bracelets for my DSs a few years ago but can't really recall the name of the company. It seems like it might have been imprint.com, but I'm not entirely sure. The ones I got came in sizes that went down to itty-bitty ones for toddlers, which I appreciated so they won't fall off.

On another note, I also ordered from safetytat.com once and was really disappointed with that. We tried them one day at WDW and by mid-morning, they were not at all legible. If I was going that route, I'd just write my number on their arms with a sharpie. We really like the bracelets though. My kids wear them anytime they're going somewhere without me.

We just used safteytat.com for our April trip and they were great! We had them pre-printed with DHs cell number and one tat lasted 4 days through baths, water rides and swimming. We were very impressed!! Sorry yours didn't do as well.

I've used wristbandswithamessage they were great to work with. The more you order the cheaper they are. They also have different sizes 6,7,8,and 9 inches around. But as some PP's have said just writing in Sharpie on the back of one that you already have sounds fine and cheaper.
