Silhouettes and caricatures, Where??

We are heading down to WDW in December, and staying at ASMu. My wife is DYING to get silhouettes or caricatures of our kids while we are there, but we aren't sure when we can fit it in?

Where can we get these done, whether it be parks, resorts or whatever. The more choices I give her, the better the chances she can fit it in!!

the silhouettes can be done in MK, EPCOT and DTD. I know the stand at MK across form the funnel cakes does both caricatures and silhouettes.

At MK there is the place in Liberty square across form the funnel cakes (we had ours done here), folks have said there is a place along main street also.

In EPCOT it is in front of France.

DTD is a cart or kiosk.

At POP there was someone in the lobby doing caricatures but I don't know if this is just POP or if other places have it also. I'm sure someone else can add to the caricature locations.

I love our silhouettes of the kids. It was my souvenir from the trip and the best one I ever bought-and quite inexpensive! If no one is waiting the actual cutting of the silhouettes is very fast. It only took about 10 minutes for 2 kids.

We stayed at All Star Movies and the guy doing them was great, he said you could leave a pic if you didn't have time to sit for it. The whole process wasn't that long and I took pics of him drawing for our scrapbook too!!

Do you know if they can do the silhouette from a photo?

Great idea to take pictures while he was drawing for the scrapbook...I'm going to have to borrow that idea!!!

It would have to be a very good detailed side shot. They do them very, very quickly so unless the person isn't physically there I would think they would rather cut them as they are looking. They did a baby while we were waiting without any problem, Mom held her on her lap and Grandma talked to her standing in front so she kept her head facing forward and he was done in about 4 minutes tops.

they also do caricatures in the lobby at the Wilderness Lodge. It's right outside the gift shop and the guy is wonderful! I think he can do it from a photo as well.

They did caricatures in the lobby of Port Orleans French Quarters too.
