What are some funny signs that would be good to hang on a Scooter?

I will be renting a scooter for the first time this trip due to a foot injury. I am also a big girl, so I'm almost expecting looks or comments from the rude people.

It has had me very upset, but reading the boards has made me feel a lot better.

I have noticed so many funny comment from people on how to deal with the situation.
Some people decorate.
Some people have point systems for rating the idiots who step in front of them, etc.

DH and I were reading some of the threads and were thinking of ways to decorate the stroller.
Our brainstorming has led to:

1. putting a very small print sign that says "If you can read this sign you are too D*MN close".

2. Putting (stealing from the other Diser's system) a sign with a point system for how many points I get for running into clueless or rude people (i'd love to have pinball machine sound effects).
My own version of Toy Story Mania. :3dglasses

3. Decorating the scooter with fairy wings and fluffy stuff and putting on a sign that says "My Pixie Dust Ran Out Before I Landed". :littleangel:
(that's my favorite so far).

What are your fun ideas?

My best friend decorated her rental scooter when she went to Disney last year. She came up with cutest signs for each park day. She used a lot of clip art designs and she created some very cute signs out of craft foam. She laminated the paper signs and punched holes in them. She used pipe cleaners to attach the signs to her basket. She even rigged the scooter with a license plate and a "bumper sticker" on the back. She has been talking about buying battery operated lights for her scooter basket this year. I can't wait to see what she does to it. I have seen the stuff before she goes and some of her photos show off her handy work, but with our trips overlapping by a few days, I will get to see her in action. That will be a real treat. Obviously, she is very creative.

I guess you are only limited by your imagination.

ooooh the pipecleaner idea is GREAT! You can just twist it on anywhere.

Well, I made my sign now and it's all decorated and sparkly "My pixie dust ran out before I landed". I'm going to put my Tink license plate on it and maybe some other sparkly and feathery things.
Now I have a debate!
Do I leave it like that for the MK halloween party (I'm going as Wendy and you know how jealous Tink can get....so, she dropped me 'in theory')???

OR??....do I change it up for that day and go with the doombuggy theme and cobwebs, big spider (i'll have a canopy so that will work well), etc?...but it won't match the costume as well unless I do a pirate outfit or gypsy or something a little less 'sweet'

OOOOOHHHHH the decisions???

If you're going as wendy, I'd keep the tink theme; that is tooo funny...

Ok, if anyone sees a scooter going by that has fluffy stuff, wings, and a glitter sign on it about pixie dust running out, and a tinkerbell license plate, that would be me...say hi.

i'll be there sept. 29-oct.6!

TINKMOBILEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (i'm working on accepting this if you haven't noticed)

A possible sign: THOSE WHO MESS WITH TINK LIVE (sometimes) TO REGRET IT.

At least you could think that...
And there's always the quote from the villain in Lion King: I'M SURROUNDED BY IDIOTS! You might find a hat with the quote in a villain shop.

Have a great trip!

Any photo updates? I would love to see your decked out scooter.

Just back and the Tinkmobile was a hit. I got a ton of people commenting on how fun it was. The fairy godmothers in training at the BBB in DTD even pixie dusted me and the Tinkmobile! They said I needed some pixie dust that WORKED!..lol
I met lots of Disers too!
I have some pics of the back of the scooter and my signs and wings, not sure if I have it fully decorated for the party in a pic. I tried not to be in it for the pics if possible.

When the halloween party ended, I gave most of the decorations (tink pom poms, glow bracelets, etc. to kids that went by). I gave my wings to the daughter of one of the disers that I met.

I just got back last night. I did a small review on the Theme Parks page (look for the Tinkmobile in the review title). I have to figure out how to use photobucket to post pics of us and the Tinkmobile and my Dining report.

Oh, we did get our pic with Hook and Mr. Smee. I was wendy, friend was Peter Pan, Hubby was John Darling. it must have been a hit, because other people were taking our pics as a group too! I got "Hi Wendy" everywhere I went as I wizzed around in the Tinkmobile!

I made this Mickey wreath for my cousin's ECV last year. It has tiny LED battery operated lights also. We had so many nice comments about it. We'll be using it again this year. I may have to add something else, too.

This year we are putting a pair of child size fairy wings going across the handles of the chair. Also my hubby bought about 50 glow sticks to attach the to the chair everynight. he was thinking about getting some battery operated lights to go around the wheels of the chair. Either way we plan on having fun!

I can't wait to see your pictures. The signs sounds adorable. Great thinking

I had fairy wings on my tinkmobile!

I gave them to the daughter of a Diser who I ran into a couple times on the trip.

I use two flashing light sticks on the basket corners at night and have several signs. My favorite a Dis-er made for me - it's cinderella in her coach with the words "My Coach is in the shop." Also, if you've never rented one before - I take a 'duffle' bag with a shoulder strap to hang on the back of the seat for my "trunk" which always makes security laugh.

We also take a bag and put it around the seat. Make sure it has an adjustable strap. The extra storage is great for all kinds of things. In December we'll be using it to store jackets.

Going in 33 days to DL and will have an ECV - hopefully the last time following a final knee surgery.

I give myself a $25 budget.

First, I was off to Walmart to buy a small girls bike horn and bell - neither loud or rude....had a ball last year with the CM's at the World Showcase gate at the end of the evening! Both screw easily onto the basket.

Next, off to the fabric section. I bought fabric to make a pouch for the back of the seat. It will have pockets for my cane but large enough to accommodate a jacket or two AND don't forget the XXXL garbage bags I use in case of rain (more later). Fabric paint to embellish the pouch (dimentions of the seat back found on the manufacturer's website).

Now off to the Dollar Store for garland and ribbon to decorate the front basket ---sparkly so it shows off when the light is on.

Last year in the pouring down rain we found a maid's cart with XXXL plastic bags. I didn't want the scooter to get wet so I dressed in a poncho, covered the front and the back in other trash bags. I stayed toasty and dry and the scooter stayed clean and dry as well.....we could scoot just about everywhere.

.....anyway.....the decorations turned lemons into lemonaide.
