Signatures: On or Off?

I recently discovered you could turn them off
I still know who people are by their name and avatar on the left side. You don't need their sig to know who they are.
Some people get carried away with the huge photos, fonts, etc. I don't need to see that over and over again when reading posts. Plus I have dial up at home and removing the sigs makes it so much faster.

I have them on all the time. When I am reading replys, it tells a bit about the person that is writing the entry.
