The menu has changed, but from all I've read, it isn't up to Yachstman standards.
There is an entire thread devoted to this!!
Hope this helps!!
I also have a fairly recent review on my website, it's not that great either......not understanding why this place is so booked...probably a "good day/bad day" kinda place...but don't get the overwhelming booking of it if that's the case.
Anyway, you can check out the review on my disney dining review website (it's from a fellow DISer too):

I havent been to either LC or YS either.. Weve tried for years to do LC, this year I get an ADR and I cancelled it last week! My main concern, my DH is a big eater, the portions looked small and to be an aquired taste. I saw pics posted from YS and the steaks (porterhoues particularly) looked big and I found very few complaints from people who went there! I think next year well try LC for lunch but for a 2TS credit we are looking for service, quality, and an enjoyable atmosphere.. Ive seen more CONS at LC than YS, Id love to try Shulas sometime, but since we always do a dining plan, Shulas doesnt make the list!
DisDoleWhip, I def. value your opnion on here, Ive seen your comments on lots of boards and your always open, honest and quite polite (esp. when things get crazy! lol) So LC will eventually make and stay on our ADR's, just maybe for lunch!
I checked out your review but didn't notice what date it was on. It looks like you ate there before the change to signature? Well, thanks for posting - I had pretty much opposite reviews on everything you posted. It's definitely a place that is good for some and others just don't like it.
That's understandable. Honestly it would be hard to say LC offers the full signature package right now because of its atmosphere. On our last trip we had 3 dinners there and the food and service were consistently great, but the spacing between tables could go a long way towards improving the atmosphere of the restaurant (the problem with that is they still need the table volume for lunch...). Then there's also the extremely casual theme park dress code.I havent been to either LC or YS either.. Weve tried for years to do LC, this year I get an ADR and I cancelled it last week! The DDP really does mess things up. It takes restaurants like Le Cellier and Hollywood Brown Derby, which currently offer my favorite food in the parks, and makes them unappealing because they effectively cost twice as much as slightly worse options. At the same time, the DDP inflates restaurants where you can get a $35+ entree and maybe even an appetizer just because they seem like better values. Paying OOP, Le Cellier's dinner seemed very good relative to other signatures (better than our most recent meals at Jiko, Citricos, and Narcoossee's), with options like steak tartar, salad with lobster, and duck. The sides, such as poutine with truffle salt and truffle crushed potatoes, were also extremely delicious, but aren't included on the DDP. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the change, since the food is better and I don't think it's any more overpriced than before (except a few dishes that didn't change at all).Yes the problem with the dining plan, well I guess it really isn't problem, but making LC signature is just Disney taking one of the most popular Epcot spots and doubling the price on people with dining plans.
Oh well YS was better than LC I thought, so if you have a choice between the two I would choose YC.
Le Cellier became a signature on March 1st, and I looked at the review; those items are not on the current signature menu (or they're plated differently now). Also the review says "it sure isn't worth 2 credits unless they do a complete makeover," and I have to say I was very impressed by the difference between my January lunch and March dinners. As a non-DDP user, I can't say Le Cellier is a better credit use than Ohana or Crystal Palace, but OOP I know where I'll have a great meal in Epcot (and I didn't even order steak entrees)I thought it was a signature back then as he mentioned it was signature status at the end of the review. I know there was a menu change since then which was just done in the past few weeks.
how far of a walk is the Yachtsman from Le Cellier?
Now that Le Cellier has become a Signature Restaurant does it now have a dress code like the Yachtsman? We have an ADR for Le Cellier and will be in the park all day so we were planning to wear tank tops since it will be in the middle of June. We were not planning on returning to our room to change for dinner.
I would say Le Cellier food is now better than Yachtsman for dinner. Neither have the best atmosphere for a signature, but Yachtsman's food is also underwhelming to me.

The thing with Yachtsman to me is the food seems rather plain. I don't mind plain food if it's done really really well, and I wouldn't say Yachtsman did that for me. The atmosphere isn't very amazing to me either - I'd say Ruth's Chris has a more signature atmosphere. But in terms of steak options and portion sizes, Yachtsman is currently the winner on the DDP.
